Greetings from Maryland

Hey Guys, After years of resisting, I've cracked and finally bought another gold pan since my youth. I took great pains to find a car that was virtually identical (Cadillac A stamp). I'm excited to bring this car back to life and in the process learn and have fun with it. I was a Tamiya fan when I s...

Re: Part #: 6579 (Associated Diff Drive Rings) : This item has been discontinued

I was looking into hardness a little more since my previous post. I don't think the B70 is going to cut it, even though those washers are pretty much identical dimension wise. Here's another option with C44 hardness. They are a little thinner, but these might actually do the trick. I'm no expert on...

Re: Any tips on reducing a collection

I personally have over 20+ rc cars that currently reside in my living room. we wont talk about how many are in other room of my small house. I am in the process of building a small building just to serve as my rc workshop and a second for rc storage. Each building will only be 8'x12' but that will p...

Order placed. I will finish getting everything else on the car cleaned up and restored so I can jump right on rebuilding the diff as soon as they arrive.

Re: Any tips on reducing a collection

I am fortunate that there is a fairly large outbuilding on our property which is used primarily as a garage, but the footprint is pretty large (can take 6 cars) and the roof space above had already been converted into an office before i bought it. That space has inadvertently become my own hobby roo...

Re: Have Good News - Please post it here

I will start one off - today my wife finally got a new knee. She has been in agony with bone on bone joint pain, so this is a welcome upgrade as she puts it. :) The surgical staff were amazing and I was stunned when same day she was standing and walking with the help of a walker. It will take some t...

Re: Have Good News - Please post it here

It has taken a while but my family and I have fully recovered from out house fire years ago and started making progress forward again. By the end of next summer our 100'x60' backyard track should be fully operational and we will begin some new builds once again. It's hard starting over from nothing ...

RC10 B1.5 #7

So this was actually the original tub for B1.5 #5. That car became a mid motor carpet racer using a different tub. So this one has been laying around for a little while. I had started to mess around with a little while ago, but for the most part it just sat. While I was laid up recently, I got to th...
