Hello from Oxford - England
I thought i'd just say a quick hello, great forum and it's already been a great help and also inspiration for me to get back into my old hobby, i'm 43 yo and i'm assuming that many of you are of that kinda age - don't we look back at the 80s and 90s of RC romantically!. Just before this christmas I ...

Re: FT Rear Axle Wheel Spacers, blue aluminum 9608
You can use a shim and a washer to approximate this spacer. Dunno offhand how thick it is but it's more than 1/16" and probably less than 3/32". You are really just looking to fill that gap so it all stacks and acts as a solid spacer. Factory works sells some stepped washers that are very ...

Re: Long term storage of cars and parts
I stashed a load of old cars away in various tubs & cases for about 6yrs in various locations loft, garage, shed etc & the one that fared the best was in a cardboard box with lots of scrunched up newspaper around it so obviously the key is insulation. The car has lots of exposed metalwork, f...

Re: Did all the t2 chassis share the 7301 part number?
I'm pretty sure all T2 chassis shared the same part number and it was a running change.
I always wondered if the GT receiver mount would fit those holes, dunno why I've never tried it.

Re: Did all the t2 chassis share the 7301 part number?
At a point in time not too long ago, somehow I ended up accumulating 3 spare T2 chassis. Oddly enough none of them have the extra holes like the later one. My complete T2 does. 9AE9EE2E-618E-472F-AD02-2381E7833188.jpeg 929DBADF-5A9C-4781-B8C4-DC108177DB47.jpeg I’m assuming there are fewer with the h...

Re: Did all the t2 chassis share the 7301 part number?
Going from memory… the 7011 sport truck was being sold as the entry level kit still when the T2 arrived in Team only form. Pretty sure it was towards the end of the T2 when the sport came out and took over entry level. Again, this is just from memory but I was working in the largest hobby shop in Or...

Re: Original stealth slipper: 6594 + 6587 modern replacement?
The Traxxas spring is a little larger diameter but it does fit. A piece of 3/16 tubing will fit inside of the spring. If I were going to try one, I'd use a short piece of tubing as a locator. Another Buggy Project - B4.1 Worlds Car
Well, the danger of having a loaded PayPal account results in buying things I don't need. I haven't had a buggy project in quite awhile, it's all been trucks for the past few years. Until this recent purchase, I only had 1 buggy left in my entire collection, and it's a shelfer. I really wanted a B4 ...

Re: Original stealth slipper: 6594 + 6587 modern replacement?
HPI used what appeared to be a stealth slipper on the RS4 MT truck. You can still get the thrust washer set on ebay. HPI A223 is the part number.
