Re: RC10B4 vs. RC10B4 factory team collectibility value?
In the UK the vintage cut off in 1999 so the B4 platform isn't eligible but a new emerging class is the rear motor classic, the B4 and B5 are perfect for this. Search Facebook for RHRClassic

Re: Forum News & Discussion
Yeah unfortunately a few bad apples spoiled it for everyone else. Safeguards had to be put into place to prevent a future occurrence from ever happening again. Currently you can edit your posts for 7 days after being made, and also the ability to delete them within 24 hours. It's been this way for a...

Re: RC10T3 Shocks
Yeah probably a small screwdriver with an oversized #4 washer on it would work for installation. Something that allows you to stack the innards yet allow you to pop them into place as well.
A small jewelers flat blade would probably be the best bet to pop the seals out.

Re: RC10T3 Shocks
I just use a shock shaft with a downstop limiter under the piston and pull it. I'll normally go back with a nut driver or similar tool to make sure it is seated properly.

First try: wrap around rear arm mount blocks. Need to work on a compatible rear bulkhead next.

Low profile ball studs
I took a chance and picked up some of these Schumacher Atom ball studs. https://www.amainhobbies.com/schumacher-atom-eclipse-low-ball-stud-4-schu4850/p754692 As with most Schumacher ball studs, they have the correct 4.3mm ball size for a RC10. However, they have a very low profile. They look like a ...

So Cal member with RC in the blood
I wanted to introduce myself to everyone. A couple of you already know who I am, and maybe remember my sisters and I running around M&M Raceway as a kids picking up little parts (some broken), packaging them with my dad’s equipment, and trying to sell them back to you. I’m Daryl Lane’s son. Most...

A&L Ultima build(s)
This is my first project in the garage on the RC side. Looking through some random boxes I found 6-8 graphite A&L chassis and after looking around at other spare parts I found a Kyosho front bulkhead that matched the hole pattern on all of them, so I’m guessing Ultima. Someone correct me if I’m ...

Re: Chrome paint for plastic wheels
From my research, the best chrome out there is Molotow Liquid Chrome, but it is really only sold as pens (or as a pen refill). For something like wheels, it needs to be airbrushed. It seems to do better on some plastics than others, and I think it actually likes heavy coats, so it can flow and self-...

A real mix
I cannot for the life of me remember the origins of this one. I’d hazard a guess that once it was a graphite or a 6 gear CE, If any of you guys have a better idea let me know. Anyway, I’ve just finished it having had it in a state of almost finished for over ten years. Equipped with a Strates chassi...

Re: Bormac's Nichimo Midships 443 WDS - An unexpected project
I scratched my head looking at the bottom rear arms... Looking at them, they are not flat. And I checked it is the same on the other side. https://i.imgur.com/Qa52wBP.jpg Analysing a bit more, it looks it could be deformation due to the car sitting on wheels for long time. Very likely. In my chat on...

Re: Traxxas Sledgehammer Refresh
Oh, this is my #1 tip for anyone that wants to rebuild a Sledgehammer. Take lots and lots of pics, and measure your turnbuckles before disassembly! So far, I have found one online manual, and that is care of tamiyabase.com, and props to them for hosting it, but it is not very clear. I whipped throug...

Re: do axial 10mm pistons fit assocaited 10mm shocks
This is mostly Traxxas parts on AE bodies. The front springs are Duratrax but the rear springs, locators, and cups are Traxxas.
