Re: Rpm rc10bum
Bare aluminum oxidizes and dulls over time. Basically the same as anodizing, just without pigment. They could also have been purposely clear anodized.

Re: Anyone have an SR10?
Sort of, the car is together just waiting on me to rebuild the shocks. I've finally bought some 'proper' up travel limiters for it as well so I should do some updates.

Re: Rpm rc10bum
They would have come with that chassis kit, including the shock rod ends and spring cups. Front only.

Re: The problem with vintage Tamiya...
I don't built Tamiyas with the intention of correcting them. With a few exceptions, I accept them with their falts.

Re: Rpm rc10bum
AE sourced the blue screws from fastener express. They do offer natural screws as well. Might have a look and see if those are the ones they used. I'll have to figure out how to take a proper picture of the differences. I am beginning to think that the screws are hard coated grey. Normal aluminum s...

Re: RC10T2 Basher
The regular AE/Kimbrough spurs fit fine. The inner holes line up perfect. The AE gears are the exact same as the Kimbrough but are cheaper in Associated packaging.

Apparently there are a number of additives that can be mixed in with the plastic as it is injected. RPM is using an additive that allows for better abrasion and impa...

4DB5DF10-032F-4499-9BC8-07BAC7810D69.jpeg Thanks! I have a feeling that the 3 bags in the kit were the chassis, Worlds front and Worlds rear kit. It's nice to see all the parts laid out so clearly and see that it came with pins. Apparently even though this was a short run vehicle the picture show t...

Re: Rpm rc10bum
That is super helpful. I see the first 3 bags look factory and the last one appears to be self assembled. Do you know if the parts were loose in the main bag? Far right bag has the parts that were loose in the main bag along with the other loose parts in the pic. I don't believe the front spindles ...

Ebay junk
So I have been buying off ebay for almost 20 years now and recently have noticed people listing rc parts intentionally leaving damage out of the ad and when you question it the blame is always placed on the buyer. Just not cool all together

Re: Ebay junk
They can say that returns aren't accepted all they want. But if you report it to Ebay as not being what was advertised, they will likely side with you. If he doesn't want to cooperate, they will charge his account and refund it to you.
