Re: best reproduction bodies in 2023?

Bokis are better than penguins and they’re very close to Associated originals dimensions wise… almost identical. These are bokis

Re: best reproduction bodies in 2023?

I bought a couple penguin b2 bodies before jconcepts released them and they were terrible but that was several years ago.

Re: best reproduction bodies in 2023?

Not a RC10 body, but I bought a Penguin body for another project and was not happy with the quality of it.

Re: best reproduction bodies in 2023?

It could also be that Penguin does better at some bodies than others. They are British, and I believe the principal at Penguin is buddies with Robin Schumacher. When I contacted them about a body for my Storm, he mentioned having lunch plans with Robin later that week. So maybe they get actual Schum...

Re: best reproduction bodies in 2023?

Honestly it's just a crap shoot with lexan. Some fit better than others and really, most didn't fit great back in the day anyway.

I have bodies from sabulatech, jconcepts and tbg. All fit reasonably well, but it depends on which body because the quality of the mold dictates the fit.

Re: best reproduction bodies in 2023?

I have several of the Boki bodies here if you need any specific pics or info but they are all clear and uncut. Jeremy would want to know about any defects for sure, so if you have some with twist or other issues make sure to reach out.

Re: Shock Mounting bushing

There are 3D printed ones on Shapeways and Ebay.

If black is fine, Dynotech has some that are like the newer ones.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

U835! They are finally back in stock at Schumacher, so if you have a Cougar 2, Bosscat, Cougar/Cat/Storm 2000, or Mission FT (and probably a bunch of others kits I am forgetting), now is the chance to stock up on shock seals. I also got a 4WD conversion kit for when I inevitably get bored with FWD, ...

Re: Forum News & Discussion

A member made a good case for why there should be a '3D Printing' forum for all the 3D printing topics. I had no objections to it, so one has been created under the 'Miscellaneous' section.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Boki stuff ordered this past Thursday morning, arrived this afternoon. Talk about quick movement and an A+ for the US postal service. Also, first time purchasing from Boki. Couldn't be more pleased with their very prompt responses to messages and items were shipped out same day ordered. RC10 Viper b...
