Re: RC10T2 Ebay score

I wasn’t the other bidder but I was looking at it until the last. It was a good looking t2 and I have a soft spot for them. Gotcha. They are way cool. My brother has an RC10GT and a truck converted RC10 buggy, I think an RC10DS also, I have the Team Car that I'm still finishing, and my daughter has...

Two separate purchases that just happened to work together. Saw the body BIN and figured why not. A few days later this near mint never driven 7011 shows up with a, you don’t pass this up BIN. Weird how this one worked out. Wasn’t in the market but some thing’s are just meant to be. 41479D1C-48A6-42...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I grabbed one of those rpm sets too, woke up at 4am to let the dogs out and checked ebay quick- didn't hesitate haha. I got one of those also. Same thing, up at 4am because I could not sleep. Hesitated then thought I would not get a chance again to buy. Guess I should look for the front arms now. R...

Re: Asking an AI to design a vintage rc10

Looks like one of RC10th's early attempts to build a rocket car had a "Challenger moment". :?

That's probably what it would look like if it crashed into a pole, lol

I'd like to see that model in simulated motion.

Re: Composite Craft RC10T - Dream Build

I finally tracked down a set of new vintage all black shocks for this truck. I was originally looking for some black MIP shock bodies, but found the beautiful Yokomo shocks. They are quite similar, but a bit more detail to them. I mounted them on the truck, however I am not loving how they look as m...

Re: RC10T2 Ebay score

Just picked up those Evader EXT2 tires from the PowerHobby website and it was even than the Ebay deal. Ended up less than $19 to my door. How awesome is that?!?!

Re: RC10T2 Ebay score

I also posted this in the "What did you get in the post today?" thread but figured I'd throw a couple pics up here also. I love this truck already. Threw a new set of Anderson PowerPole connectors on the ESC to match my batteries (been using them for literally over 25 years) and took it ou...

Re: RC10 Buggy but 3D printed

For drag racing diff lockers are an upgrade. You'll lose performance when you need to turn, but it's not like anything will explode. 3000kv at 10v seems about right. Older RTR cars came with 30,000 rpm brushed motors so that doesn't seem out of line. Glad to hear that I can run without the diff. I'...
