XX - My runner.
The last byggy I raced was a XX CR back in -97. I still have it, but I can´t get myself to drive it. So when a XX showed up on a local auction site I waited patiently until the last 15 seonds and placed my bid. Won it at $90! The Tekin charger was from the same seller and I got it for $10. :D 202305...

Re: Rc10 graphite front shock tower questions
Per the manual, they used the inner mounting hole of the control arms. That is basically the same as Andy's arms, which used short shocks. Team Cars and CE's used the outer holes and longer shocks. Using the inner holes (or Andy's arms) doesn't work well with longer shocks. However, I have used Andy...

I kind'a hate to say it, but I prob won't be around as much as I have been over the past couple years since I joined this site. I've recently decided to get out of the hobby. I've done it a few times over the past 40 yrs lol but this time, I'm out for the most part. I say "most part" becau...

In the process of putting together a RC10 stealth 91 replica I have to get many parts from the rc10T. I found some in my area but the shocks are gold therefore I wonder how to change them to th...

Re: Painting associated shocks ?
I believe you would need to remove the anodizing and clean them up prior to sending them off. Here's an example of his work.

A few questions...
Hi All, I got a set of rims like what Jay Halsey used on his 1985 IFMAR winning buggy. What bearings or bearing inserts did he use? Does anyone have a link to where I can get what I will need? Also, does anyone have a lead on the right tires for these rims? Also, I have a Novak 1 esc but the decal i...

Re: What in the R/C would you do?
I would "loosen" the tracks resulting in lower corner speeds and cars sliding around. This promotes passing. Passing (or at least trying to pass) is racing. I am not a fan of what (to me) is just processional Formula 1 with hills. I tried watching EFRA (I am a Schumacher fan and they compe...

Re: What in the R/C would you do?
I would merge compatible hobbies. 3d printed mainstream cars where you purchase a license to the files and purchase a hardware kit of harder to make hardware from the manufacturer. bring back the creativity and and ingenuity into the hobby. Imagine a main line manufacturer that created car designs c...
