Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
I always have to put oil in, the first thing anyone does when they pick up an RC car is to play with the suspension. On a Losi this means adding oil every few months  I don't put oil in my runner shocks half the time.... why would I put it in my shelfers? :?: Wait.... what shelfers??? ...

It's 1984 Xmas morning in Nov 2023!
Well I accidentally rediscovered RC10 after almost 40 years. I was never lucky enough to get one back when then but man did I beg! So I bought this beautifully never run chassis w a Edinger box that I'm going to build and display. I've gotten the bug and have a few more used ones coming that I'm goi...

RC10GT colored carbon fiber
Hi, long time lurker, new poster….my first RC that was decent was an RC10T followed by an RC10GT. That was around 25 years ago. When covid hit, my son saw a scrap heap of RC10GT parts as asked about it. I told him what it was and he asked to fix it. Well, that was 3 years ago and I’ve hit the hobby ...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
This is why it was gritty in there, looks like green dirt and oil. https://i.imgur.com/vGgBMq6.jpg Barely drove this, so not sure how it was that bad. Remove bushings, install bearings and fresh diff lube. https://i.imgur.com/OinAHN8.jpg Cleaning up. https://i.imgur.com/pFUAcHu.jpg https://i.imgur.c...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
In order to remove the bushings, the roll pin pliers came in handy. https://i.imgur.com/6kcQFnC.jpg But getting the pin all of the way out, without damaging anything, is where the punch kit came in handy: https://i.imgur.com/mqubRBD.jpg The big punch made getting the hub bushings out easier too, the...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Found this in the manual, regarding the included shock oil #5414, they say the #5422 silicone is better. https://i.imgur.com/nHK7gvr.jpg I somehow have a spare set of shocks, not sure how, but the spares on the left have less wear. https://i.imgur.com/r0DiCWz.jpg I have always been running the slip ...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Front end was pretty bad. I was so lucky to find a bag full of shock mount parts that were brand new, bolts, washers, nuts, couldn't believe it. The new hardware really made a difference. Starting off ugly. https://i.imgur.com/H9Ql2mB.jpg Used more simple green and longest time setting, with better ...

Just finished my Tamiya BBX
It's a rainy ugly late-November Sunday, so I finished up my BBX today. It's pretty much stock except for the optional slipper clutch. It has a HobbyWing Quicrun ESC with a 10.5 turn Quicrun sensored motor. I installed a 25 tooth pinion as well. I like the contrast of the yellow, orange, red and whit...

Re: Just finished my Tamiya BBX
The stripes look so good it didn't seem right to cover them up. So, I cut my own numbers for the roof as well as the flag on the rear. I left the number plates off the rear body panels because they are difficult to get to lay flat without wrinkles. The ride height seemed a tad too high for me and so...

Custom_Carbon’s garage
My lovely wife bought me a b6.4d kit for my birthday. I took the opportunity to try my hand at using an airbrush. I’ve always been a rattlecan kind of guy. It’s not perfect, but it’s a start. Hope to get more practice until I get do half as nice a paint job as some of the cars posted on here. What d...

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
Received my "FastTrack" E-mail from Associated today... pretty jerk move of them to raise the price from 319.99 to $399.99, talk about a bait and switch.

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
their new system is quite broken, they cannot add, change, modify, adjust etc ANY order for ANY reason. I had a payment method that expired while waiting for a preorder and they were unable to update it, the system wont allow it.

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
$319 is already steep for this buggy, and the $80 price increase is pretty savage. I still don't see what the wow factor is about the CC since I see more cons than pros. AE would have been much wiser to just do a re-re-re Classic & Worlds and offer up spare parts.
