I picked up one of these based on this review, I'll see how it compares to the equally Chinese Turnigy ESC in my other car when it comes in.

I tried this with my AE parts. Used a UVA light, incandescent. This is after ~16 hours. The gear is for comparison. I'm pretty pleased. We shall see - I put the idler gear in last night with the thrashed diff gear and...it worked great. Did all kinds of horrible things to it and it didn't strip out. Is it tearing up the mainshaft? About a month ago after running it really hard since my post about it, a tooth chipped on the idler gear. Going to go back to plastic gears but it was a fun experiment.
