Re: Hybrid buggy build
This is a cool build, looking forward to see the end product. I gotta know the part # to those Traxxas turnbuckles...? (Edit: scratch that, found them). Will be FXT related when I get to them.

Re: JR's Choice motor.
Lightbulb just went off since there's a decent amount of us who buy and/or collect old brushed motors. Just thought it would be cool if we had a sticky thread in this "Vintage Electronics" section focused on the history of different brands/suppliers vintage brushed motors (not just names &...

Possible new vintage brushed motor sticky thread??
I brought up this idea in someone else's thread, so I'm bringing it up here instead of continuing to de-rail theirs. Since there's a lot of us folks who buy and/or collect old brushed motors, I thought it might be useful if we had a sticky thread in the "Vintage Electronics" section focuse...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
Got another one finished before the rain set in. This is a RC10 E-GT conversion. I picked up a slider a while back and mostly finished it with leftover RTR parts and other stuff that was laying around. Re: Vintage, Vintage, Vintage... I'm getting tired of it!
My wife calls them toys and use to make remakes & wisecracks for them being childish. But of course the first time I let her drive one (along with everyone else for that matter), she immediately wanted one for herself. So now when she sees me on the laptop looking at r/c stuff, she comes up and ...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - September 2022 ** - Winner - THEYTOOKMYTHUMB
Idea for a future Build of the Month. Theme would be matching pairs - Examples: 1) RC10 & RC10T with common paint theme, 2) JRX2 and JRX2 Mini, 3) RC10 gold pan and RC10 WOIN. Photo below from Fasterlouder posting. - limestang This is a pretty cool idea. Matching paint theme could be quite diff...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Great condition Novak GTX esc, and a Duratrax Spike esc which was soldered to the Speed Gems 2 Onyx motor. Detached them to test each individually. Was a bit concerned something out of the bunch wasn't going to be in working condition, but sure enough all work great. Resized_20220919_124554_758.jpeg
