Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Yup, it's still quite horrible looking. The saying "has a face only a mother can love" fits it, and all others like it, perfectly

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Over this past weekend. Whitened and rehydrated nylon parts, stripped the very faded blue anodize and repainted the motor plate and guard for my brother's Blue Eagle LS.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Another Tekin Speed Star that actually works (I'm surprised any time I get a used Tekin that works). And LRP AI Automatic Pro Reverse ESC. image000003.jpg An early Trinity Monster Horsepower when they used Kyosho three-piece can & endbell. And a pink label Monster Horsepower with purple endbell ...

Re: ** Build of the Year - 2023 ** - Winner - jcwrks

Damn, just logged on to check out BOTY and vote, and seen it was closed :( No matter as it wouldn't have made a difference.

Well done jcwrks.

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!

I got a few bigger toys but they're a bit neglected at the moment, well aside from my daily. 1992 Nissan 240SX when i bought it it was in pieces. Put it back together, dailyed it for awhile and started drifting it. It's been through hell a few times and has been retired from daily service. It's bee...

Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)

Here's a pink label Trinity Monster Horsepower 1985-87 World Champions motor I tested out today. Motor has some gahones, 38,000+ rpm at 7.2 volts. I don't see any Trinity Monster Horsepower motors listed in the reference guide. If anyone has info/specs on these motors please share. image000000 (10)....

Re: Trinity Joel Magic Johnson Champ motor?

I have two of these motors. As mentioned they're 17x3. You certainly got a good deal at $35. In my opinion, this is a motor to keep in as good of shape as possible and it would be a shame if it got burnt up. Reedy Radon 2 motors are a dime a dozen and would be a good candidate for a runner motor.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

17 hours into Deathstorm2024 and this, I haven't touched my driveway yet except for the tire tracks. I'm 60 miles straight east of Todd for reference. People were freaking and raiding the grocery stores and emptying shelves over the weekend for this supposedly brutal storm   image000000 (1...

Re: Dyeing Super Star wheels

OK, 20 minutes into the acetone bath and we are seeing results, as evidenced by the slimy feathers of yellowy clearcoat floating away from the wheel. 20240112_083622.jpg This is fantastic, as I was too sally to dip them in acetone myself. Which may likely remove the stubborn chrome I couldn't get r...
