Re: Outlaw Rampage Pro runner-build

I asked Team Blue Groove about replicating the Pro-X/XRT gear cover as well. They said they would reproduce it if they had one to work from. Unfortunately I ruined my gear cover when attempting to remove some of the yellowing from aging.... damn it! If anyone has a gear cover they'd be willing to le...

Re: Land Speed Rocket Car

Yes it's a big shame to see. Gotta be tough to deal with. It was a very impressive build nonetheless.

Re: Anyone ever used these speedworks motors before?

I have two 427 motors in excellent condition, but yet have to use them. Really considering putting one in my recent Traxxas SRT build (non runner). But I'll test them to see what they put out for rpm and amps.

I agree with Frankentruck, that's a pristine motor and should keep it as a shelf item.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Made a stop at the not-so-local HobbyTown to grab a couple parts for mAdMan, and ended up with a few others for myself.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I got what I believe has been the hardest part for me to find. Also in my honest opinion the single most important aftermarket part for a B4/T4. I break a lot of parts but the worst one to break even over the idler or a snapped CVD is a broken chassis at the kick up. Maybe it’s never happened to yo...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

They had B4 shocks?! I bet you didn’t wanna sell em anyways. 🤦‍♂️ I bought some used blue ones on eBay yesterday. Going to have them reanodozed I think. I picked up all the remaining older AE shocks and springs they had left in the old bins stashed away behind the counter. I didn't go through...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Installed electronics in the Traxxas SRT. Went with a Tekin Speed Star TSC 412P because it fit perfectly, Futaba R142JE receiver and S3004 servo. Was originally going to use a Trinity Ex-Tech motor, but decided on the Speedworks 427 because I think it looks better. image000000 (11).jpg image000001 (...

Just ordered the shiny CVD bones from sheldons, and the Custom Works CVD axles and CVD rebuild kit from Amain since they had them in stock.

Thanks for help fellas

Curious how much too short?
I'm thinking about ordering a pair of each Custom Works CVD and CVA bones and axles so to get lengths and diameters of them all, and make a thread of them.

Re: Which Custom Works CVA/CVD kit for B4?

Thanks Ed. Yeah I had all those on my watch list. But I just did another search and found another MIP shiny bone set on ebay listed for $40 OBO, I offered $30, they countered immediately with $35. So ended paying $43 total instead of $26. This is going to be a B4 shelfer, so I was preferring bones a...
