Snatched up a R2004GF receiver, and juicedcoupe hooked it up with a DuraTrax Sprint 2 esc.

The hall effect sensor bearing is glued in place, it can be removed because I've done it on one mine. I don't suggest it though as long as it spins smoothly. Sad to hear Jeff, that's certainly tough. I've never understood how hard it could be losing an animal until it happened to me for the first time about 8-9 years ago.

Awesome collection. You can get 1/4" black tape to replace what's there if you ever open them up. I just take a couple pictures of it first before removing the tape.

Nothing special velcro, just the thin stuff. Pretty sure I found these pictured at Walmart. Regarding cleaning it, when I get done bashing I spray the rig with a compressed air gun, also pull the velcro apart and spray it as well. Works really good getting dirt and dust out of the velcro. Probably simply due to it's easily and cheaply manufactured due to recently having the aluminum tub and trans already in previous re-re models.
