Re: Thinking about dyno's for brushed motors

Just finished a complete rebuild of my brother's Rc10T4 and rebuilt a few motors to test in it. The three motors were; Speedworks Tony Neisinger signature 14x4, Trinity Speed Gems Pro Amber 17x2, and Speed Gems Topaz 11x3. I got pulled away before testing the Speed Gems Amber, but tested the other t...

Re: Any Super Bowl Predictions?

I'm a long time Bears fan. Doesn't matter to me who takes this one, but I'll be rooting for Burrow, Chase and company this go round. The wife and I always have a handful of family and friends over on super bowl Sunday. This year I'm making my bacon wrapped, cheddar jack stuffed smoked meatloaf.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - February 2022 ** - Winner - PARMA01

Congrats PARMA01. Ughh... I didn't report back soon enough before the deadline. But its alright, even though I'm not very big on pan cars, my vote would've added to the other 23. That unit is killer.

Well done to all contestants.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Much needed roll bar cups & Futaba R203GF receiver for the on-road T4 (almost complete). And finally made up my mind between Hobbywing Max10 vs Castle SW4. Recently seen some info of folks who had both systems in their personal rigs. The one common factor was Hobbywing system being slightly favo...

Re: Currently Playing

For some reason that made me think of this. Very first time I ever heard them was at Ozzfest '99, and was immediately hooked. Haven't listened to any Static in years.

Re: Optima Mid RERE

I've kept my order as well but we may not be finished with this. Now, my Order Information page includes the following statement: " You will be asked to confirm any items still on back order on Apr 12 2022. " Not sure what's significant about Apr 12th but whatever. It's just the next date...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

Looks like you're enjoying some good grub, downtown Chicago can be a lot a fun for sure. Right before meeting the wife, I had a lady friend who lived in Bucktown and we'd often frequent downtown. Was some good times. I've made CAD drawings for a few of those hi-rises downtown, all the concrete const...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - March 2022 ** - Winner - TheDiamondOne

Agree the bros are exceptionally slick. TheDiamondOne's RC10 was hard to pass up, but man that pan car had me hooked.

Well done David.

Re: RC10B4 vs. RC10B4 factory team collectibility value?

I have a few various T4's, so I'm rooting for that they become immensely collectible and end up being worth a fortune in the future

Nice. I was really wanting that one as well but backed off at the last minute, among a few others they had up for auction. I got the Reedy Ti above from the same fella.

Re: Confirmation if a Le Mans 240SB armature is authentic?

I have a nice 240SB, I'll disassemble it to take photos of the armature/windings and post them here later this evening. Post a pic of the windings at the commutator. The 240SB is a 19 turn, double wind.

The Coxbros also have one. They're likely the most hardcore Le Mans motor fans on the site.

Re: Confirmation if a Le Mans 240SB armature is authentic?

This one is legit for your reference. The 240SB windings are 0.65mm wire. I measured two different wires on mine, as you can see in the pics. So if you have a caliper you can do the same. But as coxbros1 said, I also think you mat not have an authentic armature. Resized_20220407_201443_1761.jpeg Res...
