Re: RC10 B4 rebuild/update

this is such a class-defining car... just like the RC10 bitd, this ruled for a whole decade until the centro, which was using the same suspension. Masteful design by Easton.

Re: i know it s an LXT classic, but ...

Who knew back when I had a pile of these and was giving them away they would be come so hard to come by. I would pay a machinist for a nice aluminum one. In the meantime when you find one run the factory works front brace. You need to get longer pins, LOSA602 and LOSA5017 are options and probably o...

Re: Lonestar's TRX-1 build chronicles... [more pics and vid P3]

I can't believe it's been 10 years already since I got involved in this... it's insane  The good news is, I still have it and I still love this car dearly. And I still run it once in a while, last time just a few days ago. Just wanted to share a couple of pics of the car, dirty like it should...

Re: My very first RC car restoration (A stamp RC10)

watch out for the vultures!

Absolutely awesome that you found your own car after all these years! And cool McAllister lowering kit. I'd actually leave it on, it's part of the car's history!

All the best,
Paul

Absolutely... restoring someone else's car is cool, restoring one's own is the shiznit. No expense spared on such cases, agree!

Re: Hex conversion using Schumacher parts

Cool conversion. Slightly off topic- I am still wondering why this is done at all, in the first place-- seems like there is more rotating mass with this design-- which means slower. Having the 'old' style of a fixed axle seems more efficeinet, no? More efficient, and also less leverage on the beari...

Re: It's starting now (Apr2020)... CWF (tub) and Shiny RC10

As said, I had an issue with the transmission case. At first assembly, the clearance between the internal slipper and motor plate looked very tiny. When tightening the slipper (with the wrong spring for now, see my other thread  ), the transmission would bind. After a few dissassemblies and rea...

Re: It's starting now (Apr2020)... CWF (tub) and Shiny RC10

RCCW towers - I haven't followed up but a few months ago it looked like RCCW had disappeared from the radar screen... Anyone knows more about that? The FB page hasn't been updated since Feb17 either :( https://images2.imgbox.com/3e/8a/lpqSUWrj_o.jpg I just love using vintage RC tools when building v...

Re: Adding castor using RC10 Block Carriers

Hi, I want to add 10 degress of castor to my King Cab using the RC10 Block carriers. My understanding is i would need to buy the 20 degree castor blocks as these would be -10 degrees as the stock kickup on the RC10 was 30 degrees? I would then flip them and run in revers on the king cab. Is this co...
