Gonna build this into a Ed "the Ace" McCulloch funny car from 90' to 91' NHRA....gonna go big power...1s for power, 4.5t Trackstar, HobbyWing pro esc....looking for good results

Slow going but made some headway...those are vintage (new) nos arms I sourced...not putting any rere parts on this except wheels and tires

Not sure if I will run these tires or go Marwan 0T-66....still undecided on wheels

Dam that thing looks brand new👍🏼 awesome work Thanks! I really dig this car...still got wire it up, esc, etc...the "Diamond One" will take care of the body...I have decided on Turbo Optima wheels on 0T-66 meats...I have a set of an aluminum set and a set of Kyosho wheels coming, whichever...

Got it all done except body, wheels tires....got the tires, waiting on wheels and decals from MCI....the servo/esc work perfect, I tested with a 2.4 receiver as I dont have crystals or transmitter for this receiver just yet

Restoring this Turbo Ultima I got from "Radio Activity" (Chuck Fowler).......thanks Chuck!...It will be as close to a box art build as I can

Tested this today....this is how we ran it, didn't want to crash the Black body or scratch the rims...but we never did crash it, but came close twice Resized_20230312_090314.jpeg Here are the results, it's got alot more speed in it but the tires pizza out real bad at this speed and it gets really sc...

Never heard of that...great idea!...when Thumbs comes down for fest we will give it a go!...like to hit 55mph then we can retire it!

Funnest thing ever, so smooth!..."Outlaw ll" was a blast as well.
They both ran 47mph...so we took the funny car home, switched to a High Voltage 2S, soldiered on bigger wires 13g (only had 16 ga on it at 47)...and it picked up 10mph...gonna gear up two teeth, hit 60mph, call it done!

Got it cleaned up after today's thrashing....it was tank after tank, pass after pass...she held up well...just love this truck...prolly my favorite rc

Got the wheels in, now just waiting on decals then the body can be finished
