Re: Old School Rocket Car Build
Maybe exhaust nozzles are needed to concentrate / direct the motor thrust and keep it on center. There also is the possibility of increasing the motor thrust by accelerating the flow rate. https://www.grc.nasa.gov/WWW/k-12/rocket/nozzle.html or maybe not. Looks like they might already have nozzles ...

Re: Old School Rocket Car Build
Yup...I have researched those...composite vs black powder...big power!...once I get a handle on this I will likely go that route for big power, simple runs!GoMachV wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 9:54 pm Looks like you can go up to a G without being licensed![]()

Once last test run in morning with dual engines, then going back to single engine....the 2nd stage is turning the car...even at 50mph...just so much thrust....this morning didn't go well...wet road wasn't the issue, tires weren't the issue... 2nd stage lighting Screenshot_20230510-171204_Video Playe...

Re: Old School Rocket Car Build
There's all kinds of things going on with that run! It zigs, it zags, there's extra flame puffs at the end! Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - May 2023 ** - Winner - morrisey0
Not my Avante??? 😪 I will start with, the Avante looks flawless! I don't know if they came with Technigolds originally, but I do know how sought after they are, so that in itself is awesome! The rest of the car is stunning! I look at BOTMs, and I don't think I am alone here, as "what is...
