I've had this little guy a long time as I probably built it 20+ years ago. It was made from bits and pieces and the body was from an old 10 cell drag car that I had. The drag car had been bounced off the curbs and gutters a few times hence why the car shows battle scars of missing paint etc. I've go...

Run from today.

"Buried treasure" lot of 40+ year old NOS & used 1/8 scale parts from a poorly listed auction. Parts from Thorp, K&B, McCoy, MRP and OPS. Also what I think is a Walbro carb for 1/4 scale car.

Last run was 59 MPH. We made a couple of adjustments to hit 61.

Chassis just about wrapped up. Just need to fab up rear body posts, and then on to the body. Wheel track is just about dead on!

It's bone stock, so not much to see. That was the rules for the oval class. It was really competitive and fun.

I like the way you used an STP sticker to pay homage to my Slash.

Started to test fit the upper belt covers. Ran into a difficulty trying to get the nuts on the screws that hold down the front of the top cover. My fat fingers just can't hold the nuts in place while screwing the screw down, particularly the four front screws. :x Probably brought this on myself by u...
