Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - November 2023 ** - Winner - jcwrks

My 1986 Kyosho Rocky.

Totally torn down and cleaned/restored.
New body, paint and decals.
Trinity Speedworks - 427, 15 turn for 4wd.
Everything on the car is original other than the motor, speed control resistors and the new body.

JJ Ultima 60th build with upgrades

This release from Kyosho is just awesome. I bought 2 kits...one to keep sealed nib and one to build as a tribute shelfer with upgrades and vintage electronics. Akira Kogawa’s Kyosho build video using titanium screws was an inspiration and will be using most of the optional parts. https://i.postimg.c...

Re: Optima Pro

Very nice build... one of these days I have to get around to building my Optima Pro. You've given me some motivation! It's been sitting in the closet far too long. It's not like I'll ever sell it, so I may as well build the thing.

Running out of nice days here so I finished up the fox with some tamiya purple (sure looks blue!) and snapped a couple pics.

Re: Factory Works “no Fox given” chassis set

Spent some time the last few weeks making the Factory Works Fox chassis better. I was never completely happy with version 1, the wonky stock steering was carried straight over and the crazy Ackerman just drives me nuts. The v2 now has our ball bearing steering kit slid in there with the entire front...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Not exactly in the post today, maybe 2 - 3 weeks ago but I only took it out of the box today. I bought a Buds Motor Analyzing Dyno to set up a motor station. I know it reads some sort of RPM likely based on voltage but I'd like to set up an optical RPM read out to get a more accurate reading. I also...

Re: Land Speed Rocket Car

Reminds me of my first "Remote " control car , one chanel sonic control ,went forwards and backwards in a circle by means of a single front caster wheel that flopped round when in reverse , I was a little disappointed .
This should be more fun .

Yup
It's like a bicycle, axle in front of pivot.
