Aftermarket or not, a Ultramold is still an "RC10". So, no.

Re: ** Build of the Year Contest - 2020 ** - Winner - Asso_man!
If you really believe in what you have built then vote for it , if not vote for someone else , I've done both , I don't mind being beaten by a better car and often agree with the result ! A lot of it comes down to taste not quality and if everybody shared the same taste it would be a dull world ! I ...

128680488_10159209011372658_7256426349773964894_n.jpg I had the privilege to have known Nick back in 86-88 and spoke with him earlier this year. He was perhaps the pioneer of the electronic speed control, writing several articles in "Radio control model cars". His Demon 2C speed control b...

I never thought I would ever get to see this race again so was massively chuffed to discover this footage had been taken, focusing on the late Matthew Hodgson and his Tomy Intruder who qualified on pol...

Re: What your workstation looks like?
A small and quite old corner desk. Usually buried in parts, screws and whatnot. hobbycenter.JPG I was given this by my parents when I was probably 10 or 12 years old. Probably to study at but it quickly turned into place to build slot cars. There is a small burn mark from a slot car pinion gear that...

Re: RC10 FF
Worked on the trailing arms and have to consider them done as far as for the M2 grub screws that will fix the toe in adjustment.

Re: ** Build of the Year Contest - 2020 ** - Winner - Asso_man!
Hey just had an idea for the new Year. Make a 2021 calendar printed for the twelve 2020 winners. Cover would feature car of the year. Funds could go to this site.
I know Shutterfly is an option.

Re: gonna do a resto
That turned out really nice! What's really fun is once you get your car dialed in with better cells is to teach the newer cars that these old things can still keep up. Once you put a super low turn brushed motor in there, hang on! These still take some skill getting them around the track at full spe...
