Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
A little more sculptural (I know it's a brutally ugly car but hey ho !) And with a mounting for the shock tower , the shock tower is printed but will be fibre glass and the mount will be black not white probably . Kyosho Mega Motors
In 1989 Kyosho introduced their new MEGA Motor line of mildly modified motors as a more affordable option to their LeMans series, with winds covering a range of on and off road applications. An interesting side note, Kyosho did not own, but licensed the MEGA-MOTOR name from Darda USA, the American s...

The retro-not-real Turbo Ultima build
Welcome to my discussion thread for the Kyosho Ultima WC 20th kit. My intent is to make the finished product look like a classic Turbo Ultima with the wrong colored shocks. I’ve never actually owned a Turbo Ultima so once it comes to mounting the Tomahawk body and lexan wing it’ll veer off the manua...

Re: The retro-not-real Turbo Ultima build
Rear section assembled, trans rolls nice and smooth, installed the kit slipper discs for now and tightened the locknut flush. I messed with the preload adjustment on the ball diff for a while and I have left it a few turns backed off, it just feels nice there. The first picture shows the new lighten...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
A slight change of direction , originally I was going to make a custom chassis to suit the rear arms but now I think the mounting could be fitted to a stock chassis with the addition of two 3mm holes each side , this one is a re re so M 3 at the roll hoop but it would be simple to just adapt the mou...

After destroying several UM-1, I searched for a substitute and (hopefully) found it in parts from a 3D plotter store (for just a few cents)... pictures:

Kyosho Slingshot
In 1989 Kyosho introduced their new Slingshot 1/10 4wd oval track racer to the fast-growing dirt track racing market. Based around a double deck fiberglass plate chassis with cutouts for either stick or saddle mounted batteries, the remainder of the Slingshot would be constructed of injection molded...

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood
Nice work so far! Those wheel wells are always a challenge, especially on a classic car like the RC Corvette from The Dead Pool. Really appreciate the encouragement, thanks! It is difficult knowing that one incorrectly drawn line, or cut too far, and all the prior steady work could be done for :cry...
