Re: Clodbuster Soap Opera

I must say the MSC turned out fantastic, I had to solder some new power leads onto the board and replace the Tamiya plug as the previous owner cut them and spliced in a deans plug. Pretty simple stuff really but makes a big difference. I even managed to remove and reuse the original zip tie..... 202...

Re: Motor Collection - Old School Horsepower

Scored this Revolution "Insane" yesterday by a freak chance. This is it after a restoration. Its a 15 double going in my brothers Avante. It turns 32,200 rpm @ 7.2v and pulls 2 amps. The was the motor we wanted most as kid back in the 80s but never had. 20210315_112217.jpg 20210315_112139...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - March 2021 ** - Winner - dinglem

I always loved the old Hotshots. I think the stock one posted here just looks mean too. One of the best looking cars they ever released. I bought a rere but haven't built it yet. For some reason, I still want a Frog too! :D

Operation Blackout Super Astute

So I’ve had this rere Super Astute for a while now. Bought it from a friend who bought it from a friend who bought it from a friend... I think I’m number five on it and it’s never been run. Never really known what to do with it. Must be demons in it as no one really held on to it. Though I give it a...

Servo question

I’m restoring/building a losi xxt. Light runner....maybe...as I am new to this Modern electronics, i was wondering what would be recommended for the steering servo. When looking at a main, looks like a bunch of different sizes, torque. It’s been 20 years since I dabbled in r/c. Can someone point me ...
