Re: "Just a Slash" No Prep Drag Car
It's sort of funny when you think about it. Weeks of stressing over parts shortages, countless hours of planning, building and testing. About $1000, and the ol'lady is frowning at every penny. Re: RC10 GTE project
First thing I did was strip the car down to a molecular level. After a close inspection, I could tell this thing was ridden hard and put away wet. It had taken some hard hits in its life. Overall, it was solid and complete, though, and that was most important to me. After getting the chassis strippe...

Re: RC10GT (holeshot chassis build)
Made some progress today. Can’t say I would recommend the eBay titanium screw kit for the GT. Somehow it feels like the screws are just not quite full 4-40. The 8-32 seemed fine, possibly just wore out nylon parts though. And my allen didn’t like to fit into the socket consistently for the small cou...

Re: Car #6 SC10 Street Outlaw Pro Mod conversion
These things look like a blast, even just sitting stationary they look cool. All I need now is another Expensive part of the hobby to distract me from my other expensive endeavors.

Only DR10 and Traxxas bars right now. I haven’t looked into making something for the SC10 setup. Probably better to mess...

Re: What's everyone doing for ball studs?
Thanks for the advice. Here's an update: Custom Works: Actually, CW does have ball studs in stock but they are the "short" version (8121). The price is $8.00 for 6 studs. These will work for steering but the camber links will require the longer version (8122) which are out of stock. From t...
