Re: 'da blue guy
I finally got tires and wheels for this thing so it's ready to go. Swapped the Futaba out for a Savox digital servo, and also cut the under tray cut out and installed. I was hoping to get to the track today but it didn't work out. Maybe next weekend if it rains (supposed to go to a car show on Sunda...

Re: Stealth trans case ASC 6565 vs ASC 6564
The only issue I've seen with the new 6565 cases is a lot of side to side movement of the diff. I bought a pack of shims to space them out.

Re: Bormac's TRX-1 runner - HELP
I use the 3%. Don't dilute it at all. Fill up a jar, dump in the parts, and set it out in the sun.

Re: After 4-yrs...my '91 Stealth has begun
Most guys ran RCPS bodies. Either the Mirage SS or Turbo Mirage.
Not everyone ran the copper springs. There are a few pics of Rick Howart's car and he has silvers on it.

Re: Mike's 91 stealth build
I thought about doing that with mine too. But ended up going the replica route. I am however building a tub car as if I were a B-team AE member at the 91 Worlds. They'll look good sitting on the shelf together one day.

Re: Tribute to the B-Team - '91 Detroit Worlds
I shouldn't be surprised that I haven't done anything with this thread in 3 years.  But, I have been accumulating some parts. https://i.postimg.cc/Y9DY0Smd/IMG-20181109-081034455.jpg TR-32 rears and 7075 Proline fronts https://i.postimg.cc/pdZDNCVb/IMG-20181109-081250527.jpg Sabula Tech s...

Re: RC10 FX-S 1993 Worlds and JMRCA Masami Style
Sweet!
I'm working on my own build of the Worlds car using a Worlds rere kit. It will get run at one of the Vonats when it's done.

Re: Got my first RC10 - time for a re-build
I think the RPM cover was designed to clear the VTS clutch setup.
I myself, for this car, would look to grab one of the rere covers from the Classic (if they're still available). Or an aftermarket one from OldRC.

Masami '92 JMRCA Rc10 Replica
I put this team car together for the wife to use. Well, we haven't been able to get to the track for her to even use it. https://i.postimg.cc/bY2N1dYt/IMG-20180929-150659921.jpg Since I got this car, I had thought about turning this into a Masami replica. https://i.postimg.cc/BnzcJHRG/FB_IMG_1498834...

Re: RC10GT Rebuilds
I think if we would have had more time to mess around with it things would have been done differently. The plan to do this came fairly close to the race and I just hoped that it was going to finished for it. It was supposed to be just a GT restoration. Jason had sent me 4 GT's to restore. This was t...

Re: Project RC10 Championship Edition!
The Worlds kit from avid has all the correct bearings you need. There will be 4 extra 3/16 x 3/8 bearing left over.
The steering bellcrank on the worlds car uses (4) 1/4 x 3/8 flanged bearings. You will have to use them in your rear hub carriers instead of (4) 3/16 x 3/8 bearings.

Re: Vintage team checkpoint brushes
Those early check point motors used slot car sized brushes and springs.
I never had them, but I would assume you could just use the slot car shunt wire too. Solder the one end to the hood and tuck the other between the spring and brush.
