Re: Shodog's Ascot Sprinter
This build has made me realize just how much time we spend on these projects. I think the dampers took me a solid 3 hours to do. From striping to polishing and then rebuilding the bottom loaders with new O-Rings. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/RC10%20Ascot%20Sprint%20Car/ECE927F2-B...

Re: HG-P407 "Bruiser Clone" Arrived Today!
In stock form the ESC is pretty poor on the brakes but if you switch to a 50t motor it slows it right down and the stock ESC does a reasonable job , the front and rear wheel track is a legacy problem from being a direct Tamiya copy , wheel spacers up front sort it out, there's a model on Thingiverse...

Re: I wonder if my old Custom Works Dominator ended up here?
Well unfortunately I can't help you locate your old car but I can certainly understand why you'd miss it so much. I still have mine - one of Jim Deiter's cars - in fact it has the same orange wheels as yours. I've been giving serious thought to getting it running again for a little parking lot fun. ...

Re: Surviving isolation chat
I'm still working. The wife has been home though, so it frees me up after work. Don't have to walk the dog, make supper, etc. Finally have some time to mess with r/c stuff later in the night. if any of you guys are on the 10talk FB group, I've been doing some FB live videos while dicking around the ...

Re: Surviving isolation chat
Been rebuilding/renovating my hobby shed/space. Started before I went into self isolation, but the last week has let me crack on with it, here’s some pics https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49407384358_501dfe1488_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49418574007_ed35d6a942_k.jpg https://live.st...

Re: A-Main Bullet Fwd 4ws RC10 conversion Tribute build
Was on Facebook and got a reply on a thread from Ken Campbell of Delta for something unrelated and look what popped up! So cool! (Btw, I did not call Delta homebuilt by amateurs- that was someone else ). Phin, was Boomsma part of both A-Main? I remembered you asking about that name before while...

Re: Surviving isolation chat
First 3d print of me , don't do this if you have any illusions about yourself , its harsh ! https://i.imgur.com/fuR35H8l.jpg https://i.imgur.com/oz02Tg6l.jpg not the best pose , printed fast and with a thick layer but its not bad and undeniably me , the one of my daughter was more problematic , it s...

Re: Surviving isolation chat
 So you'll be able to drive a RC car in more way than one... Here in the Netherlands we have a soft lockdown, and I fully expect the crap to hit the fan in the coming weeks because mostly young dumbasses apparently still don't get that this disease is dangerous and they too can end up...

Re: Project: LS1 Chevette
I don’t have New any updates. And haven't even done much driving with this car in a while. I was just going through my photo album and realized I found some pictures online of that event I went to. The class I entered was street stock. Rules were factory power adders only or slightly larger turbos o...

Re: Now people can't stop talking about the 1/12th Fantom 4wd re-re :D
This would be a good kit to buy in my opinion, I can't see huge numbers of these being sold but once they are gone spiking in value.
I would definitely buy one if I was financially better off and our dollar wasn't so crap.

Re: 3D Printed RC Parts
Just the guy I was looking for! Do you have pics of some of your awesome builds? I realize that you're planning to print an RC10 but Dadio has designed and printed a Yoke Dogfighter and you can read all about that in this link: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=44144 Dadio, I hope y...
