Re: Shodog's HPI RS4 original
Thanks for that. Also another question, first time I’ve seen the double spur gear setup how does that work? Each spur gear has its own one way bearing. At first the larger gear is driving the gearbox. The one way bearing in the smaller spur gear allows both gears to spin at the same speed. As it re...

Re: Nitro collection
well with lots of time on my hands like everyone else, I've tried to finish little thing on some of my cars. On this Nitro I got the wing on and was lucky to get two sets of new wheels for it.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Body question no.2 In the same lot as the MR2, I got these two 1:8 bodies, that I have no clue on. 8 bodies 1.jpg First one is big and white, I'm thinking ABS like Mardave make their bodies... underneath, it has "Matich S4" written in pen... 8 bodies 2.jpg Second one is some weird 70's st...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Not through the post but bought through a local eBay seller. The guy, a former model shop owner was clearing out some old stock, I’d asked him if he’d got anything else for sale and he’d said not. After a bit of a natter, I spied these three and asked if he wanted to sell, he gave me a price I could...

Re: Need help identifying this car
Yep- that’s an Agi-Jammer. Made by ART (advanced racing technologies). Their pan car was called the Agitator and since this was a gearbox version, often referred to as a gear jammer, they took the name Agi-Jammer. I don’t know how official that name was haha.
Info and pics will be tricky.

Re: Now people can't stop talking about the 1/12th Fantom 4wd re-re!!! :)
Howdy, I can't believe they are releasing this, I'm in shock. I don't think the sales/popularity will be anywhere near the optima series re release. But check out the BOX. looks amazing, it just screams buy me, so I could be wrong. The memories this thing brings back is freaking me out, I remember g...

Re: Tamiya Bruiser ends again?
I'm glad i bought 2 of these plus spare parts for a complete rebuild if needed. I got 1 from RCMart back when they were selling for less than 500.00 and the 2nd one from a seller in LA that didn't realize he had to build it. Amazing how many have probably sold though. I have no intention of selling ...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2020 ** - Winner - Lavigna
Ok, this is my restored Tamiya Astute. The Astute was my first real RC car. This is not the same car as I had as a kid, I grabbed this off eBay and restored it with new parts wherever I could. My RC backstory is my 2 best friends had an RC10 and a Jrx-2. We didn't live near attack so we would race o...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Plus, has the nose extension on the back, the hump in the bonnet / hood area, and the small cutouts at the base of the front windscreen. Also, the little cutouts at the widest parts of the body as well... definitely Cougar2. Alex Thank you Alex, you are totally correct! I didn't even think about it...
