Re: No international shipping.

Bummer, that's a shame about international shipping. :(

Personally I've never had a package go missing or damaged, but I can understand the frustrations.

Re: Getting the big Fairlane back on the road.... Going the whole 9 inches

I really went down the rabbit hole with this one. I basically just wanted a nicer power steering bracket and pulley and ended up with all this crap  Performance enhancing it is not except for the fact that it will slow the water pump and power steering down slightly. I did the calculations on t...

Re: What your workstation looks like?

Not a random bump, but never hurts. Gave the barn a full detail yesterday.

Man how I wish I had a space like that.
My "hobby room" is a 30x40 inch table sat in the corner of the room. I definitely gotta do something about that.

Re: Craiglist rc parts/cars posts, hilarity thread

Got a lot of laughs from this thread. Thought I'd revive it. Not Craigslist, but still funny. Guy is asking $500 for a brushed 2wd Slash. Against my better judgement, I let him know that his truck is $269 new from Traxxas. He then claimed to get $900 for his Slash, and blocked me.  ...

This isn’t a RC car but also too funny not to share

Re: The dog thread

I was touring Facebook and Andy (yes, that Andy) posted this beautiful pup needed to be rescued. So I tortured over it (we havent had a pet in nearly 20 years) and went to pick her up. A lovely Husky (I think a little Malamute mixed in) with gorgeous crystal blue eyes. She hopped right into the back...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I acquired a Futaba tuned XXL AM receiver, but it came with some extra parts I don't really need. This is getting to be a bad habit. This Tamiya TL01 is more how I would have expected that Tamiya 956 RM MK5 to look under the body, rather than looking like a cousin to a 12i. . Speaking of bad habits...

Re: What's your favorite & least favorite steps when building a new kit?

Least favorite part for me is setting up turnbuckles. Getting them just right is a pain. Mounting up tires with foam is a close second.
Favorite part checking parts for free movement, spinning the front wheels is the best.

Re: Cougar Storm mess

So the club 10 mk2 is stripped and rebuilt, to be re-purposed as a Cougar instead of a Storm (as the mk1 Cougar had the Storm conversion towers) Some new tyres, wheels from the Cougar, and added new wing mounts. Re: Getting the big Fairlane back on the road.... Going the whole 9 inches

Finally got all the bits to finish up the pulleys/pump. I bought a 2.5" fan spacer to pull the fan back slightly as it was just a bit too deep in the shroud. It was originally anodized black so I stripped it and polished it for some reason. I kind of like the fact that the hub stays bolted to t...

I picked these 3 up from a local seller who’s clearing out a house. The previous owner must have been a real enthusiast……

Re: HPI RS4 4wd help?

I did buy a brushless setup and radio receiver. A first for me and will put it in the HPI and see what happens. Will velcro and tie wrap the battery in for now, or when all that stuff comes in. I was amazed at how small the receiver is with this radio. I talked to a hobbyshop guy and told him the d...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

I have heard millions of Cicadas, and seen hundreds of their "shells," but in 46 years, I have never seen this. Watched this little display as I was out weed-eating this evening. After going in an showering after the last pic, I went to go check on them, and they were gone.

Re: Forum News & Discussion

I was informed by our hoster that our server is old (Vintage!) and that we're being moved to a newer one as a precautionary measure. It will be taking place this coming Monday the 30th. They didn't specify when on Monday or how long it would take. If the sites inaccessible for a period of time, tha...
