Howdy, Picking up this little guy tomorrow. Resized_20220719_103354.jpeg Awesome! Did you pick him for the matching hairstyle? :P :) Nothing like having puppies about the place.... all the joy of stepping on Lego pieces in the dark, but with none of the sharpness in your foot... I didn't even...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Grabbed this HB Cyclone D4 off a local auction site in New Zealand, grabbed it for the transponders and brushless set up but the very generous seller also "threw in" a tamiya touring car with another transponder. only paid $120USD for both, got a mate whos two sons will soon be racing them...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Yep, every now and again you come across a true gentleman when trading, also scored an original Losi JR'S Choice motor on the same site last night looks good condition for my JRX-Pro rebuild, not as cheap $80NZD but period correct. Turns out you can still buy the rebuild kits for those original losi...

I got another load of spare parts for the Schumacher Cougar re-re I still don't have. Apart from the front end I could build one from the mountain of Top Cat/Cougar spares I have stockpiled. I don't see Schumacher going the Tamiya route and re-releasing their stuff over and over again. I am ho...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
#1 Kyosho Circuit 20 (Rowdy Baja, etc.) front shock tower.
#2 Thought it was a Hot Trick Grasshopper front shock tower but it's not. Maybe it's for a Futaba FX10.
#3 Dunno...looks like a front upper brace for an 8th scale buggy.
#4 Tamiya Road Wizard rear pod brace and wing mounts.
#5 No idea.

Road Rally RR-10: Project Snowball Effect
From cheap set of wheels to full build................... So, I wasn't going to do any more long build projects here, because well, they are long and drawn out, and nobody really cares; they want to see the final product. But, TBH, the forum has been super slow the last couple / few weeks, so whatev...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Didn't appreciate the sheer volume of spares he had with it, titanium tie rods, diff parts, 6 sets of suspension arms, boxes full of screws and bearings, slipper parts etc. Not sure where to start as there are easily enough bit...
