Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

eBay seller had a five item "service parts" lot for Traxxas Fiero up for sale, and I offered him too little with "Make an Offer." Not only did he accept the offer, he sent extra parts! I literally have a dollar a bag in on this deal. Good to know there are still good folk...

Re: The dog thread

Boxer overload lately. The two fosters are a handful- but adorable (when sleeping). 5 is too many.

Re: The dog thread

Ours are glad winter arrived so the tiny dog fireplace gets broken out. About 18 pounds between the 2.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Couple days late on this But I got yet another project in the mail. Should make a good runner after a little work. IMG_20221222_113504590.jpg Not sure why it posted the picture inverted.. Do you use an Australian VPN ? I think it's just trying to simulate how it'll look when I try to race it.

Re: ** Build of the Year Contest - 2022 ** - Winner - THEYTOOKMYTHUMB

Well done Thumbs. Is "The Dom" an '89 car?. They weren't cheap ! Thanks, I'm not exactly sure of the year. I bought it well used off ebay several years ago and didn't get much detail from the seller. They were not cheap, which is why I could never afford one as a kid. It was always a drea...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

ME: Welcome to 2023. It can't possibly be as bad as the last two years, can it? THE UNIVERSE: Day 1 of 2023.... 2023.jpg For those that can't quite make it out, or maybe have not heard much about Australia.... this photo, taken inside my house , shows a young Redback Spider - also known as Australi...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

We have Black Widow's around here but they're not too common. Very hidden usually. The Brown Recluse is much more common as far as poisonous spiders go around here. Our pests are generally safer than those in Australia though...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

I only know what I learned watching Steve Irwin's show, but it does seem that Australia has a disproportionate number of deadly creatures. He did a "world's deadliest snakes" show once and pretty much every snake on the list was native to Australia. Even so, it is still safer than,...

Re: Irvine .15

And done...... So is this running yet RJ, or are you delaying starting it up (and thus, completing the rebuild) after I threatened to send up 6 or 8 more? :P It's pretty much ready to go, just need to hook it up. I was going to send the engines back to you but you wanted to send me a car to put it ...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

These have me scratching my head and I had to throw this on here to see if anyone had any clues/ideas? They look like adapters to run Yokomo wheels on pin-drive axles. I'm kinda thinking 1/10 pan car wheels because of the hub size and screw spacing. But it is a pic, and without a ruler by it..... O...

Re: Your favorite ESC (with photo)

I'm surprised nobody has listed the Novak Cyclone It's not my favourite... :P Same here. I have one, and its a cool esc. But far from being a favorite. I like older electronics, and I have several older Novak, Tekin, Futaba, and Astro-Craft pieces. But once they got buttons instead of potentiometer...
