This is planned to be a high end XX4 with modern electronics, running a 13.5 brushless motor. This project has been in the pipeline since before I finished my early version XX4 shelfer, several years ago. I have been gathering parts for the past several years, but a clean solid graphite XX4 chassis ...
Hi all, To change, a small chassis (1/8) that I unearthed via FB and a Greek enthusiast who was kind enough to sell it to me as I wanted, that is to say without what can be associated with nitro (engine , tank ...) This is an SG chassis and the model is "PRIMA". Simplistic chassis moreover...
Just did a little freshening on this one. Cut the comm, rehab the endbell, cleaned the can, new brushes, and oiled the bearings. Nice! I noticed when I tried the LXT carriers on my JRX2 that the camber location on the LXT carrier is higher and results in more camber gain and bump steer even at the highest spindle setting. The new camber location on the tower would probably solve this.
Thanks, I actually decided to see what it'd look like with the lip panted too. While painting I was really nervous that it might not come out well or just look...
What color did you order from shapeways? I wonder what their red looks like.. Orange because i feel it goes better with that paint scheme and I intend to use those ones for actual races. I am printing a set of red ones myself at some point soon though for my replica JRX Pro I'll be building. Got my...

Found a few more GPM alloy parts for this so on they go.... super-rare top deck and also the steering link. Just the front and rear gearbox eccentrics to add now. I have also added some Japanese mag decals across the battery straps and switched the motor to a red prism label 30deg 1990 Demon 27turn ...
