Re: My JRX2 restore/race build
Welp, qualified first in the Vintage B main and had the lead til the very last lap when I buffed it lol With the exception of a turnbuckle the old girl didn't let me down all weekend. So fun actually racing a JRX2 after after 30+ years. Good times!

Today I got some endmills and other tooling to play with. Never tried cutting wood (on purpose) before. I could get used to this!

JRXT Rebuilt Questions
So, I am building/restoring a JRXT. A few questions The instruction manual - There is a Rev A and B - what are the differences The battery holder - did it have the original type then switch over to the swing arm? The steering linkage - Did it only come with white or were there other colors for other...

Re: JRXT Rebuilt Questions
The rev-a and rev-b are the revisions, "production release" is the first version. I just flipped through my copy of production release and rev-a and didn't see any obvious major changes, they look the same to me. I don't have a rev-b to compare. The battery holder may have changed to the s...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I don't know what it's going into, but this Novak Micro GT with a Mini-Monster mod motor was just too cool to pass up. So was the nice Twister motor.
Now I have to figure out what sort of battery connector that is.

Re: SG Coyote improvements
Finally got the motor mount made. I still have to do a bit more machining to lighten it. I'm really happy with it.
Fitted. Fits and functions perfectly.

Hi from Ohio
Hi everyone. I trash picked a couple boxes of RC stuff. One box had a gold pan rc10 with all kinds of extra stuff. Other boxes had plane and boat parts in them. All paperwork and receipts ranged from 83 to 89. Anyhow, i have never owned a remote control anything that didnt come from toys-r-us or rad...

Coyote Rethink
Been thinking of this for a while. I've got a fair pile of Coyote transmission parts and I've already CAD modeled the Tag Pro10 suspension but I want to take it a little further, I'm planning on changing around the front suspension to give the arms a 15 degree angle and doing something else with the...

Re: SG Coyote improvements
Coyotes have no front kick up, anti-squat or rear toe in from the factory. Washers can be added between the rear suspension pivot balls and bulkheads to add some kick up and anti-squat. That's how I built mine when I first assembled it. The lack of toe in on the rear was something that needed to be ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Prices for Revolution motors seemed to have hit a bit of a lull, so I picked up a couple of Insane Killer deals. And then FXT parts started arriving. I now have 1% of a truck! Oh, and a blue thing to cap it all off (thanks, much appreciated).

Re: SG Coyote improvements
A used bulkhead has been modified by machining 1.5mm off the areas where the front pivot ball of the front arms attach. The mounting hole was then extended up into the bulkhead to compensate for the loss of material that the screw needs to bite into. I was going to machine an alloy one up for the fr...
