JRX Pro SE "we don't do shelfers here" build
So the first ever "Hobby grade" RC I owned was a used Losi JRX Pro SE that my step father helped me purchase when I was a kid. Later I sold it off to help buy a a former racer's LXT and his entire inventory of parts, radios, electronics, and motors, batteries ect. This was decades ago but ...

Hi guys, Im new here, I just get locally this rare bird apparently, Kyosho Fantom 20 Exp 3P 1/8, In very good condition, just dirt for years in a closet storage, I actually bought it just for the OS Max .21 motor that I need for another project, my surprise was when I discovered this is indeed a ver...

Re: JRX Pro SE "we don't do shelfers here" build
I did a little more to it over the week and it moved under it's own power, albeit just down the hallway and back. one thing that was holding me up is I didn't have any buggy sliders to use on this car, but I did have a bunch of LXT sliders. They weren't in the greatest shape externally so i didn't h...

Dimensions
I wonder if you find it as annoying as I do that many products and spares don't give a good description of measurements. Especially with vintage models for which spares are difficult to come by. Probably loads of compatible or adaptable parts if sufficient descriptions were available. A database on ...

Re: LXT Front Shock Towers A-1015 variation
Found this out while tearing down a parts truck. It appears later on in the production cycle Losi modified the LXT camber link locations on the front shock tower. A1014 for the Pro SE had running changes as well. Here are the three camber link versions that I know of. I have compared it to the Jamm...

Re: JRX Pro SE "we don't do shelfers here" build
Good job on cutting down those drive shafts! You might want to rethink your Jammin setup..that looks kinda crazy lol.. It was a specific setup & geometry for the tracks at the time. If you’re not properly centering the JRX2 spindle with 2 “B” spacers within the LXT carrier, then just use the or...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
ended up changing the scheme of my stock class Mini JRX2 to match my JRX Pro. https://i.postimg.cc/Gp1bKwkj/IMG-20221119-201438165.jpg Decals are 1/14 scaled JRX Pro decals from MCI which fit quite well. I should have move the side decals forward more on both the bodies but I didn't feel like fighti...

1985 IFMAR Offroad 1/10 World Championships
I traveled to Del Mar in July of 1985 to attend the first 1/10 scale off road championships. I had a 35mm SLR camera and took 50+ pictures. Some good, some not so good. The pictures were on display in my hobby shop until I closed it in the early 90's. If you want to take a look I have them in an alb...

Kyosho Pro X build
Here goes a Pro X build. This is a Team version, which includes full bearings, alloy turnbuckles, and coated threaded shocks. I am starting with a very clean donor car, and lots of NIP parts to replace anything that shows signs of damage or wear. Several years back I built a Pro XRT truck all from N...
