I wanted to add the aluminum front and trailing arms - but am now having second thoughts. Maybe the car should just be cleaned and left as is - as a time piece? If it was me, I'd clean ...

I would build it as designed. Tps trans, bullet front end parts. I'd probably put the machined white houge arms on it.

It looks like you may have the rear suspension pin's mounted wrong , yours seems to be parallel to the grp plate , one of the pin mounts is taller than the other and this one goes on the outside so the pin is higher on the outside and lower toward the centre of the chassis , this changes the camber ...
