This is a mid motor conversion from Advanced Racing. Haven't seen another one of these on the board so I thought I would post the build. Need to verify the date of this conversion in the old rcca ads but I am thinking late eighties. Maybe someone can chime in with some additional info. http://i625.p...

Re: Advanced Racing Products RC10 Mid
Hello everyone, Some of us over on Old School RC facebook page have started working on reproducing this kit together. Here is a sample of what is in the works. This is the only part I have done so far but I will be making the whole rear set, including the top piece, motor plate, and shock tower. enj...

'BK Select' Brian Kinwald Reedy motor
I am gathering this motor i have is pretty rare. I have hunted down quite a bit of information, which points to this having been almost released then prevented from being so due to Brian Kinwald defecting over to Losi/Trinity some 4 months after the '93 Basildon Worlds win. The idea for this motor w...

Re: 'BK Select' Brian Kinwald Reedy motor
This motor was never released to the public although Reedy intended to. The Dirtynator had actually just signed with Losi and Trinity at the time and the BK Reedy motor was never sold to the public, at least not with this label. The very few ones that were produced were only given to sponsored drive...

RPM “ 91 Worlds “ with Composite Craft chassis
Admittedly going to be a long while until I get into this one, still working out exactly what I want to do with it. Re: RPM “ 91 Worlds “ with Composite Craft chassis
They may not be perfect specimens but since I know it’s been mentioned before and it is something of a rare opportunity to do so, I figured I’d take some side by side photos to display their similarities and differences shape wise. 2F121EB0-FABF-4314-BD73-79E25F3784DE.jpeg B653C5A4-14A6-49C9-94E4-AD...

Composite Craft RPM '91 Worlds build thread
The CC RPM Worlds was based on the '91 Worlds Stealth buggy that AE developed for the loamy Freedom Hill Park track in Detroit that was hosting the 1991 IFMAR Off-Road Worlds. RPM developed the '91 Worlds front end kit for AE team drivers that weren't running a Stealth buggy. It took roughly 18 mont...

First and foremost, a HUGE shoutout and appreciation to Larry Doe for helping me make this dream a reality. Re: Composite Craft RPM '91 Worlds build thread
Thank you. It's been a real treat to source the parts and build it up. I was torn on what wheels to use, but I knew in 1994 the majority of competitive racers were using 2.2 rears. As much as I wanted to use my HPI Super Stars the rear are 2.0 :( I decided to use TQ 2.175 rears with Pro-84 Y design,...
