Did you use b4/t4 front caster blocks with the stock inline steering block and axles? I found that is the best way to widen the front and minimize geometry problems. Only thing i never liked about using the b4/t4 caster block on older rc10s is that at full lock, there's still the issue of the inside...

I had one fitted to a 10t with a custom kydex mount and stock pieces to mimick a T3 shock tower rest and mount and I believe it would probably work just as well on a T2.
