Finished up the wiring on this one.

Here is one of mine.

It has Spaz Stix color change, backed in gunmetal (normally backed in black).
The Spaz Stix has a somewhat metallic finish on its own but the metallic gunmetal amplifies it.

Look up 4:1 heat shrink. Most are 2:1, but 3:1 is pretty common as well.



If you get marine grade, it will have hot glue inside the tube. It seals the wire and holds better but is much stiffer.

Alternatively, the marine grade is helpful is you need the wires to maintain a certain shape.

Common 006 silicone o rings fit fine, same as nearly everyone uses. The problem with bottom load shocks is keeping everything aligned. They take some fiddling around to get smooth operation. Got some paint on my Graphite car.

It has Spaz Stix color change on it. But when backed in blue, it looks more like a purple pearl.

For the record, it didn't hurt near as bad as it looks.

Got the body decals and some battery decals from MCI. I'm going with the classic Nissan GTP look. Basically when you see a rod for $300-$500...(some fly rods are actually $800+ :oops: ) basically what happens is (like many goods) the company gets the parts for "x" amount...then they up the cost of the parts by 400-500% then add on another 100% for thei labor etc, so they end up sellin...

Just FYI, RPM rod ends are thick enough to be opened up for 3.5 and 4mm turnbuckles.

It appears to be.

As delivered, the esc supplies the servo power and just the signal comes from the receiver. He mentioned that the servo is low voltage.

I don't see why a normal micro servo couldn't be used, hooked to the receiver.

Recovering missed opportunities for fun is harder to do.

Short of a crystal (maybe), all of my comple cars are functional. My TQ10 isn't complete but I have the electronics for it.

Use the Factory Works / Vintage RC / RPM front tower. It has the correct geometry for a buggy and more room for the body.

Here is one of mine, with Dynotech arms and the Factory Works/RPM front tower. That is a JConcepts Detonator Worlds body.
