Re: The Ugly Truckling JRXT
If they are 1/8" hinge pins, Custom Works E clips work good and are cheap.
If the grooves of the pins are worn, maybe use a 3mm E clip. I've had to do that with several RC10's.

Re: Futaba AM radio and Airtronics compatible receiver?
That Dynamite MicroPro has old style Airtronics servo sockets, so it should need a Airtronics crystal. I have two, Futaba and Airtronics versions. The manual says to use crystals that match the transmitter. But be mindful, old style Airtronics plugs had the positive and negetive wires in reverse or...

Re: Rulon disc & diff drive rings (Stealth rebuild)
I suspect that the carbon fiber disk is a crossover from fishing reels. The rulon drags are commonly replaced with carbon fiber.
There are also special greases (Cal's) made for baitcast reel drags. It makes them smoother, without losing much strength. I've wondered how it would work with a slipper.

Re: Trash picked treasure
The first picture is a non-bec receiver. The battery and both channels share the same positive and negative rails. This can still be used with an esc with internal bec. Truthfully, most modern receivers aren't bec. Do not directly connect more than ~6 volts directly to these. Screenshot_20221023_201...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Took the day off to get my dad to a doctor's appointment. Got a wild hare and cast a few when I got home. Fall is upon us for sure. It is about time to do some fishing. I pressure washed the boat today. Last week, I replaced the U bolts on the axle and put new LED lights on the trailer. I sold my c...

Re: What's your favorite & least favorite steps when building a new kit?
Bringing this back up.
I hate gluing tires. Like really bad hate it.
This is probably why most of my cars aren't runners.

Re: What's your favorite & least favorite steps when building a new kit?
Honorable mention- Tire gluing. I always get glue on my fingers and I always ruin the appearance of at least one tire in the set. I just finished gluing a set. To limit the chances of screwing up, I have acetone, debonder, Goof Off super glue formula (weak acetone), Ronsonol lighter fluid, an...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Went ahead and bought some stuff for the FXT, even though I don't have it yet. Screenshot_20221026-171959_Gallery.jpg Those aren't the correct length turnbuckles but they were on sale for less than the ball cups. The turnbuckles will, however fit a RC10. And I took a gamble on the gear pitch. At wor...

Re: Dirty pictures thread
Finally took the E-GT out for a run. Screenshot_20221029-135716_Gallery.jpg Leaves kept getting wrapped up in the suspension and dogbones. Here are some that flung inside. Screenshot_20221029-135733_Gallery.jpg Having never driven a mid-motor, RWD vehicle, it is definitely different. Even with the T...
