Got a couple Team Orion SV2 (round, angle brush) motors. I just bought them because they are different and they were cheap.

I'd soak it in acetone to remove the outdrives, then replace the gear, rings, and balls.

Not cheap, but these are what I use on all the small clips that I've encountered.

If you can find a short sex bolt (internal thread), that would probably look good as well. But the screw would have to be the exact length.

I didn't realize they did these with stamped brush hoods. I have an original one with the machined endbell, interesting motors for sure. In addition to those, I also have a SV2 with bushings and fixed timing. It isn't marked like a stock motor, so I'd assume that it was a 19 or 21 turn spec motor. ...

A little RC10 rehab. Stripped and cleaned everything, replaced missing or broken parts, new hardware (mostly KnK), body mounts (CRP), and some Factory Works bling. There are 14mm hex wheels available but the fronts will be hex as well. What size is the axle itself? There are 12mm hexes available for most of the common size axles. Look for bearings with a 4mm inner race. Different size outer races will open your wheel options. Also look at wheels that use a 5/1...

A little more rehab. I cut the broken section off the battery tray and drilled the correct holes for inline mounting. Cleaned the shocks and put fresh oil in them. Found some better looking springs, and installed them with locators and cups from Frankentruck. Servo, motor, and gear cover installed. ...

I like that rear tower as well. I have it on 6 (of 11) of my RC10 buggies, with various FW front towers.

Piddling around before work. Another trip through the boxes netted some Novak electronics, an NER-2X and 410-M5. Also made some motor leads and tidied up the servo wire.
