Forgive my ignorance, but is that FXT as in the vintage Futaba truck?
Yes.

I think he has about 42 of them, give or take.

I have trouble finding parts for one, while he repeatedly finds multiple comple trucks (for cheap).

This is GoMachV's company isn't it?
Yes.

FYI, Jeff will give you better pricing when dealing directly with him.

Also, he may offer some options on some parts that aren't available through Ebay.

Re: Storm 2000 wheels

The matt black part would be the tough one, unless you did it on the exterior.

Re: Associated's '89 Stealth car (RC10GX)

Original RC10 shock end pivot balls were ~5.8mm. The ballstuds were 4.3mm.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

After seeing Jerry building two FXT's at a time, I figured that I should at least rough cut the body on mine.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I got this sad little Grasshopper.

I only paid $40 (shipped !) for it, so I couldn't really go wrong. And other than a pinion gear, I have enough junk to piece it together with.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

It looks like it goes with that shock tower. Meanwhile my old Cougar has 1 shock mount hole up top and 2 at the A arm. And I still make the wrong choice. I use the holes that fit whatever turnbuckle that I have at that moment. Given my "driving skills", it wouldn't make much d...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Actually last night, but whatever. Sad little Grasshopper rehab. Maybe rehab is excessive, as it's still a basketcase. Picked up this thing for $40, shipped. Then I dug through my junk and found enough stuff to piece it back together. Screenshot_20230202_175841_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20230203_094512...

A 5 minute Krylon paint job and a few decals, and it almost looks respectable. Almost.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Did you have to trim the back of the fronts? The fronts that he made me hit the hinge pins before full lock. I'm thinking of getting a router attachment for my Dremel and using a 1/8" end mill bit. Got a picture? It's the same model used for both your sets. I wonder if I missed adding a chamfe...

Re: Can you I.D. these?

Common "006" silicone O rings for the shocks, same as most 1/10 shocks use. I buy them in bulk off Amazon and Ebay but I have a fairly large collection. The Traxxas 2362 rebuild kit is a good source. The O rings fit and I know that the bladder fits Duratrax shocks (I don't have any Kyosho ...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Rainy day screwing off. Swapped some wheels and tires around on the hopper. Frankentruck printed FXT wheels with Blitzer rear tires and LRP fronts. I've got a couple sets of white Stadium Blitzer wheels as well, might see how they look. Screenshot_20230211_152116_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20230211_1521...

Re: JC Racing Products adding more RC10 parts to their list

The rear arms look like a hybrid of the stock arms and Andy's arms, being reversible.

It's fake. But that MCI decal goes extremely well with the blue aluminum endbell on the Team Orion motor.
