New RC Genre
It's been awhile since I've posted here, but I wanted to share my latest project... Kyosho Mini Z buggy (MB010). Recently, a new shop, with a track, opened down the street from me. These guys are serious about doing things right, and having a good time with it. I've never considered a 1/24 scale car...

Re: How good are new bearings
Due to my puller builds, I became pretty obsessed with bearings in my quest to use the best of everything. What I found is that there are American manufacturers that still produce miniature bearings, but with a catch. They either don't sell to the general public, or you have to buy in large quantiti...

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood
How did AE do their chrome? Vacuum metallization... the part is put in a vacuum chamber with an aluminum wire, drawn down, then current is applied across the wire which vaporizes the aluminum and the vacuum causes it to attach to the part. Over the last few years all the vacuum metallization places...

Quik King Cab Story...
So this Tamiya King Cab was painted 2 years ago when I first started my hunt for them. It was actually my very first find, but unfortunately, the body was painted and backed with black, which turned the supposed bright red into this dark burgundyish color. Being highly upset, I chucked the body in t...

Re: What are your plans with your re-release RC10T?
I have some brush motors coming soon as well, starting with 12x1 and 17x1, they will be chrome can instead of the black though. Hopefully will have them available by the time the next big release happens. They will be $19.95 just like the good old days

All wired up. . 1000011482.jpg . 1000011453.jpg . A little test in the house on the carpet showed that this thing might like to wheelie a bit. Howdy from the NJ shore!
Hello all! I've been a "lurker" for quite some time now... even registered a while ago, but haven't joined into any discussions yet. :? However, with the introduction of the 10T re-re, and my kids being a bit more of a "self-reliant" age now  , I can get into some discussion...
