Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
The use of green slime is highly recommended. While the RCPS variety is rare, AE still offers it as p/n 1105

Re: RC10B1.5 resto mod
Front end assembly, pretty much plug-n-play stuff here. Klein front arms/rpm worlds width, wide gt axles, 25° caster blocks, jconcepts ball bearing steering, lunsford turnbuckles, rpm ball cups, associated servo saver (tamiya hi-torque copy), rpm mini front bumper.

Re: Personal lap timer stand
I thought "I could make that!" So off I went looking for materials. I found the tripod first which I thought a bit uncanny that it looked identical. Next was to buy some plastic, velcro, eyelets and an eyelet punch. I cut out a bit of plastic, drilled and tapped some holes 20240701_200353....

Re: RC10 - A Stamp Rebuild - Chipped Idler Gear
Going to take this car in the direction of a Jammin' Jay Halsey tribute, to both the 1985 race car, and the RC10 in the movie The Dead Pool. Not going to mod the chassis or make an exact replica, exterior will be close as I can get it though. https://i.imgur.com/3Ct0pZP.jpg https://i.imgur.com/YGIC9...

RC10T Classic Re-Release Build Video and Key Takeaways
Wasn't sure if this was better suited for the RC10T section or the Rerelease buggy section. Here is a live build video I made yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VV12mj25PzY And here are the key takeaways/surprises from the build: 1. The Moto-Obscura bleeder shock caps do fit these re-release...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Finally got around to the paint, body, and decals on my Blackfoot.
I still have to paint the driver but I need some more paint and fresh brushes for that.

ReRe conversion with 'modern' parts from Cliff Lett tribute
Got my ReRe 10T, and since I shouldnt run my Cliff Lett tribute with the new parts, Im just going to restore it to shelf status and put the new bits on the ReRe for running. I did order some FT titanium turnbuckles, all in one Rx and ESC, more decals etc. Also will try the Radon 2 17T brushed from A...

Officially an RC10 owner
Apparently none of y'all wanted this bad enough so I ended up with it. At least this one's complete and I just need to clean it up.
It'll arrive when I get home from my trip.

Re: RC10T Classic Re-Release Build Video and Key Takeaways
Did some testing and tuning the other day at World of RC with the RC10T Classic. I didn’t break any “real” parts, only two of the stock ballcups. Honestly if you’re going to run this truck it isn’t even worth it to take the stock ball cups out of the bag. They’re brittle, grip the turnbuckle far too...
