Old Clod 2

So I picked up a nice Clod 2 RTR it has the stock motors and an EVX2 speed control, what are the best motors to use with this ESC. I have the CPE aluminum axle shafts on the way, is there a major benefit to switching to the metal gears since it will be apart? If so how do I know what sizes to get ec...

After wanting one of these as a kid 30+ years ago after seeing the magazine ad, I was finally able to build an Ultra Molded buggy. Just added a few period mods but nothing too crazy. I was so tempted to add some stickers to this blank canvas, but it looks just too good to cover up. - MIP CVD's...

Re: Associated Foam Donuts - Standard size

Glued and trued, this project is now completed. https://i.imgur.com/L4VvahZ.jpg https://i.imgur.com/reYrCtq.jpg https://i.imgur.com/BgHyF3n.jpg Made both the front and rear 60mm outer diameter. Not sure if I'll add the ribs in the front wheels, that seems to make them split easier. I want to put foa...

Nitro XX Buggy

Yep - you read it right, a Nitro powered XX Buggy. History - back when Nitro truck was popular, before the XXX-NT and GT2 era, it was GTX/NXT vs GT (mostly) but the e-trucks were XXT and killing it. I ran one myself in Mod Truck, a lovely 10 single wide open down that long Ranch Pit Shop rear straig...

Re: Fusion Speed Carbon Tub

I'm using a new Fusion tub as the base for a Totally Tub-ular build. It's not going to be an exact copy of the RCCA July 1991 article, but I will be using several identical hop-ups.

1989 Futaba Catalog

This didn't have an outright date on it, but from the contents I have reason to believe it's from 1989. It has some writing on the cover which is interesting about the serial numbers.
