Found some amazing vintage parts!
This weekend is starting off great. Found some rare sees aluminum and JPS aluminum Wheels. The two sets that are still in packages, along with two sets of sees knock off nuts, just blew my mind. Tomorrow, I'm taking a trip upstate to hit up a couple of old hobby shops. I called one of them, which is...

Robb's Bolink Invader O/R
This was just going to be a quick throw-together build, but I have ended up liking it so much that I may try at BOTM with it, so I thought it should have it's own thread for the build. This all started with the rear pod, that ended up in a bunch of parts I picked up probably about a year ago. I had ...

Re: Robb's Bolink Invader O/R
Then moved on the electronics. I like "matching" electronics, which usually came on older RTRs, so they aren't great, but I just really like how they are a matching set. I had this Airtronics leftover from something, so I went with it. ESC and motor got new wire and plugs, again from stock...

RCP Wreckluse - Axial Based
Afternoon Everyone...Its been a while since i posted a thread. I recently had the pleasure of taking out my RCP Wreckluse for a run. I also attached a GoPro to record the fun from Willy's perspective and to share. https://live.staticflickr.com/7844/45951979365_9f427800b7_b.jpg Set to 1080 for best r...

Re: What is it now Team Associated?!
Dumbest thing I've ever seen. Got my preorder in at amain
just because it's stupid doesn't mean I won't own it. The stupid stuff from the 80s is the stuff I'm most excited about in 2025. Maybe in 2055 it will be cool

Re: Forum News & Discussion
The past day or two I've noticed the board acting a bit funny speed wise so I checked the server monitor and the load is bouncing off of 100%. :? I logged into Cloudflare to check the traffic activity because that's normally what causes it, and it seems we're getting inundated with some bad traffic ...

MIP Legend rere
Eustace will be running the prototype for the continuation of the Legend this weekend. I'll update when I can. Notable differences- the front end is updated with a stronger carrier and hub design. Same front transmission but the slipper is now more like a single pad rulon style slipper and mounted t...

Custom Fabricated Train - Serious Machine work
This is a photo from left to right of Mr & Mrs Ed Sholl, and my Grandparents Bob & Mary Schenk. Ed and Bob were both career machinists. I took the photo in 1984 where I introduced my Grandparents to Ed and his wife. Ed originally started to build this train when raising his son. Unfortunatel...

** Hopelessly Incomplete Project of the Month - April 2025 ** Winners RC10th & Incredible_Serious
We always like seeing runners and excellent shelfers, but how about the projects that never seem to come to completion? This contest is for the projects that are stuck. Missing parts, broken parts, impossible to find parts, or lack of motivation to put the parts together. What does winning mean? Con...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Thank you Ed Frankentruck! These arrived today in trade for a couple of motors that I got. Ed is definitely a stand up guy. I’m not trusting of many people because with 30 years in law enforcement and 25 of them with the NYPD life has taught me that trusting people is usually a losing gamble but Ed ...

Re: My graveyard of carcasses has arrived
So, a little progress; got the measles-looking pan bead blasted, epoxy primered, and painted with VHT Burnt Copper. Cleaned and dyed black all the purple plastics. Started reassembly, but I need to pick up some new hardware, and many other parts. Slow but steady progress. It will probably need to be...
