Re: Molding some kydex
Kydex is easy and fun , you can score it with a Stanley knife then bend along the score to crack it like Lexan .

My RC10GX / RC10 GX with stealth tranny
Hello! This is my assembled RC10GX from Japan. It is the latest Japan spec based off the RC10 Graphite Team Car #6036. Yokomo was the early distributor for Team Associated in the early years, and Masami also helped to race and develop the car. The ball connectors, ball cups, tie-rods, and wheels/tir...

Pictures of professionally made carbon fiber tub chassis
Does anyone have a professionally made rc10/rc10t carbon fiber tub chassis they can take close up pictures of?
I'm trying to see of there are fabric joins in the corner of the chassis or if the shape was slightly altered on the front, back and the draft of the sides.

Re: Pictures of professionally made carbon fiber tub chassis
Huh 6 gear only fusion tub, I always thought they came out much later and were all drilled for a stealth as well. Seeing the pics from these angles you also realize how thick these tubs were. Impressive :D Yeah, 6 gear only. And unfortunately, they're not "thick" where it really matters. ...

Re: Pictures of professionally made carbon fiber tub chassis
I think what mostly killed them were the arm mount screws coming loose. Even the alloy tubs suffered from elongated holes for the same reason.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
You guys are crazy!! I thought the Mini JRX2 was cool and exciting, and then I see all the crazy stuff going on here! All the Junior/ Pro SE stuff you're doing is having me steer away from other projects and devote some savings for some of these mods. Amazing, crazy good stuff! You gotta get a 3d p...

Kyosho Pro-XRT stadium truck rebuild (Team version)
This is my Pro-XRT project I started last May of 2021. It was in a little rough shape and missing a few parts when I got it. I disassembled the truck shortly after getting it, then placed in a tote until a couple weeks ago. Plans are to replace necessary & missing parts (already done) and make i...

Vintage AE's A&L Trailing Arm RC10
I feel like noobe all over again. I started this build years ago when painting an extra body I had lying around. After sitting on it awhile I've finally decided to pull the trigger on the A&L chassis kit. I opted for the 4 hole front tower and fiberglass chassis. There will be some waiting on se...

Re: Vintage AE's A&L Trailing Arm RC10
Chassis would need to have two holes drilled out, a longer trans brace, and you would need to modify the rear bumper. They trans and the chassis were different eras, and were not really used together. That said I have built quite a few c2 with lethal weapon.

Re: Vintage AE's A&L Trailing Arm RC10
It’s all good as long as you put that nice looking graphite back together with the correct pirated pieces when your done  No fear of that! I even have the first car back together as much as I can. Loose parts and hardware give me anxiety lol, clear space, clear mind  It gives me more roo...

Re: Rpm rc10bum
I heard back from RPM. They definitely have them and reasonable price. That's just crazy to be able to still get those. Thanks for the tip. They are going to wonder why RC10 motor guards are suddenly so popular.
