Re: Rpm rc10bum
Yes it is definitely rare in the condition that you have purchased it. I would be hard pressed to run that because unlike a tub or graphite chassis, it easy to rash up, which significantly reduces it's value. The steering enhancement kit alone sells for a bunch so I wouldn't want to risk breaking th...

Re: WTF? Fenders on a buggy
I think you mean Traxxas.
Yeah I dunno, I've just chalked it up as another zany Japanese thing.

Re: Rpm rc10bum
Very cool find! The car kit is indeed reasonably rare, the truck kit was released at the height of the truck racing craze and overshadowed the buggy kit sales by quite a bit. As far as making it a runner, personally I would choose something else but that is up to you. If you have any questions, plea...

Re: Rpm rc10bum
Do you happen to have a parts list of what came in the kit? Do you know the years of release? How was yours fitted out when it raced? Thanks. [/quote] We dropped the buggy kit from the 95 catalog so my guess would be 93-94 but would have to do some research to know for sure. I raced it pretty much s...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
2 packages of awesomeness arrived today. Rear motor guards from RPM and some fresh cut gems from Factory Works. That chassis plate just might spare a T2 chassis from getting a front bob job done to it in my B1.5 project. But those peculiar holes on the sides of the chassis. What could be done with t...

Re: Rpm rc10bum
Did you get to meet Richard? Yes and he was extremely generous with his time. He took about 1 1/2 hours out of his day to show me the factory and the process of parts creation from mold creation though packaging. That process is intense. I also got to hear a lot of stories about the early days in r...

Tamiya New Beetle FF01 front wheel drive fun
The Tamiya VW New Beetle FWD FF01. I never expected this one to put a big smile on my face. Item number is 58217 and originates back from 1998. I finally fixed a broken steering block that kept me running the Beetle for a decade. This one is fun! Looks fun and drives fun for anyone--even with a simp...
