I was fortunate enough to acquire this NIB Traxxas TRX1 several months ago. The box and packaging are lovely. I really want to build it up, but so far I haven't been able to get myself to cut open the pristine sealed packages, filled with fresh 1991 air. I have also gathered some nice period upgrade...

The still sealed stock chassis and the Composite Craft chassis.

Anyone recognize this body shell with the driver incorporated? Did Associated sell these? Does anyone reproduce this? I think it's cool!

TBG reproduces it.

Looks as though the major parts ( B1M rear bulkhead,B1M rear chassis brace, B1M RC10 4-gear laydown transmission case, Rear body mount for B1M RC10 conversions) are available on Shapeways.
Check @ Conklin Performance Designs on Shapeways site.
Probably need to fab the motor mount.

I shuffled some parts around and now can move forward on another one of these. I couldn't do the chassis mods i typically like to do because they were already redone in blue. The only thing I did do was move the servo forward to get a little more weight on the nose. The nose plate had been on my b1....

It took a week, but I think I'm pretty much done organizing the 'Other Makes/Models' forum. It was way worse than I ever expected it to by. There were also a lot of topics and whatnot that had to be removed. It seemed to be the catch-all place for just about everything. A new forum ended up emerging...

This is my proto based on the Jamara /Hobby World Valiant 2.
I build all the epoxy parts myself.
The body is a TBG jammin jay, with my paint scheme.
