Re: Fixing up the Frankentruck(s), the fleet of them

Composite Craft had a "team" chassis set for both buggy and truck. They also had a truck set similar to their "RPM Worlds" version.

Re: Fixing up the Frankentruck(s), the fleet of them

I'm going with my coffin style chassis for now. I like the blue nose plate and have another truck that might make use of this Composite Craft chassis, after I fill the one extra hole it has.

Re: Composite Craft RC10T chassis dirt oval car

MarkyDents wrote: Sun Mar 05, 2023 8:51 pm Did RPM ever produce a stock design T front bulkhead ?
In the Worlds front kit, they list the bulkhead as an AE part.

Re: Composite Craft RC10T chassis dirt oval car

RPM didn't have a truck bulkhead that accepted nose tubes. The one you have is it, so ultra molded or carbon chassis is about it.

Re: YZ-10 for dummies? - 93' WCS

I don't know why but I pulled this out tonight and thought I'd update this thread with some parts I've bought over the years since my last post

The wing and pink wheels are JC and the wing wire Pargu.

Re: Reedy Modifieds - which one would be your favorite?

I have quite a number of Reedy modifieds many of which are from my own racing days rather than having been collected more recently. Just reading the previous posts I can confirm that my yellow label Reedy Ultra was actually a Yellow Dot. Whilst not specified as an off-road motor I ran it on short, t...

870c - WASP conversion

This conversion was advertised in very early 1990 in the UK RC mags, and it turns out the alloy chassis was provided by Racecraft (located just down the road from WASP). This is the only WASP lower chassis I have seen apart from in the old black and white mag photo. The drive train is also the full ...

Re: Converting RC10 Graphite to RC10 Graphite Replica

Some bodywork added to the evil twin. A little experimentation with Cricut patterns too.

Re: Source for hinge pins?

Frankentruck wrote: Thu Mar 09, 2023 10:27 pm For the rear inner hinge pins, RPM is selling them (#70590). I actually need those, so that's a good thing. I'll have to watch for the JC Racing production.
Just note that those are the longer ones. Later models (Worlds, late CE and TC, and re-re) used shorter pins.

Re: Associated's '89 Stealth car (RC10GX)

Have you test fitted some batteries to see if they are loose with your current configuration? You could run a strip of dense foam tape on the underside of the hold down if you didn't want to shave down the cups. But if you are going for a super replica....... Looks like the tops of the socket heads...
