Brian Kinwald 1997 IFMAR 2wd World's Winning XX-CR Replica
First and foremost, a HUGE shoutout and appreciation to Larry Doe for helping me make this dream a reality. Larry was kind enough to bring my car down with him for the IFMAR worlds this past week at Hobby Action Raceway in Chandler, AZ for me to display in BK's memorial pit spot. I'll have this on d...

Re: Composite Craft RPM '91 Worlds build thread
Initially I had 4 aluminum crews for the Stealth, but it turned out a few had some heads that must have been abused. I used 4 steel ones because I forgot that I had ordered a bag of Tecnacraft aluminum 4-40x1" screws off eBay last week. I then realized that I forgot to cut the motor plate, so I...

Parma is back... sort of
Some of the Parma body molds are now being pulled by Mid America, a slot car shop. I have seen posts of people asking for specific bodies such as the tmaxx dump truck and I requested the grasshopper body- both were added to the website and I'm just waiting for mine to show up now. Sounds like the mo...

Re: Parma is back... sort of
It's becoming pretty common to see actually, the cost of materials keeps going up and up. The slash bodies and puller bodies are huge too, but the 1/10 pan car bodies are on the high end for sure. My grasshopper body was $30 which is pretty much what I expected for a legit real original body

Re: GoMachV’s 3d printing thread
The place that was all gung ho about doing the molds has been on other projects all year. Going back and forth on a trans case with them now and I just don't know if it's going to work out or not. I'm pretty tempted to just say screw it and 3d print the parts to use up the chassis I had made and go ...

Re: Frankenbuggy '91 B1.75 Detroit-ish Worlds Buggy
Some more front end work done. After I put in the steering servo I'll add the top plate. That funky bell crank angle is intentional. That's how this buggy apparently was run BITD. . PXL_20230922_162129161~2.jpg . PXL_20230922_162149437.jpg . I decided to go with a really small servo because this see...

Re: Old School Rocket Car Build
Building my own engines now...after initial cost for the housing, the reloads are much cheaper...have some runs coming...and several that Thumbs hasn't posted🤷♂️...but none with this new engine combo....also, I have yet to wreck the car with the Camaro body or custom Factory Works chassis....dozens...

RC10 B6.4d Homage Paint Work to Original RC10
Hi All,
Just wanted to share the recent body set i completed for my RC10 B6.4d. I had the idea to paint a similar livery as a homage the OG RC10 box art. Below are some photos of my original RC10 and the B6.

Re: Composite Craft RPM '91 Worlds build thread
CVD's have been assembled. These are the early version with smooth round bell bottom. I was going to use Shiny bones, but since they list B3 (1997) I feel they are too new for my build. MIP 1007 CVD Kit (Large).jpg CC-RPM-Worlds14 (Large).jpg Shock parts have been gathered. These are bottom load bod...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
One of the weirdest things I've seen in a while. M1 Pirate full plastic parts set in white nylon. I had to get two just because. Really shocked these even existed. We sold a lot of the Pirate M1 at the hobby shop I worked in and I never saw these! I have a nice M1 waiting for an restore one day and ...
