Took the day off, so headed out this morning to my ex-hobby shop owner hook up, and picked up a few things. It ended up being AE spare parts and random body day! Couple of Bolinks, a few Dahm's, three AEs, and even a A&L snuck in there. Ended up with absolutely nothing I was hoping to find, but ...

Even with the generous offer given by the seller, this is the most expensive, by far, parts tree I have ever bought. This is why I don't build things right, because building right is expensive!! I have bought quite a few cars for less than I have in this group of plastic.

I think it often depends on the type of builder you are. Some people do a full teardown, and thorough examination of exactly what they have and need. I think it makes sense for these type of builder to buy the specific parts they need. Other builders, like myself, look over the vehicle whole for two...
