Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

Spent half the morning standing on / walking on this curb / duct adapter, before moving on and spending the second half of the morning on another one. Not sure why anyone would install such a piece in front of the main power / control / compressor section of an RTU.

Re: Any Member In Canada Be Willing To Get and Ship eBay Item?

Thanks for the offer Toaster! I ended up contacting the seller, and he was completely unaware that his listings had the weird location restrictions set up on them. We got the deal done, and he was happy that I brought the issue to his attention.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

One good thing about being out of the main stream RC car hobby for multiple decades is that you get to rediscover cool vehicles that came out that you never knew existed. I think I knew of the idea of rider motion bikes before, but not that they were mass produced. And I think they still make this s...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

These were my eclipse viewing shades for the day. I forgot all about the eclipse, and then while it was happening, I remembered this technique from the last time one rolled around. Works like a champ! :D

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

I am not sure how much my wife paid for this tug toy for one of the dog's Christmas stockings, but the fact that it makes each of us laugh every time we see it 3+ months later, makes it easily one of the best investments we have ever made! :D It is always moving, so surprises us every time! edit jus...

Re: The dog thread

Spring 2024 vacation. Not a long road trip at all, but enough to take it out of the girls on day one. :D

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

And you already save $170! Of course you will have to wait until it comes out before AE will tell you what they are actually going to charge you.

Hope it ends up on pre-order through a reputable dealer soon.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

I prefer to order through amain but with a limited release and not knowing numbers I didn't want to chance it. I am going to wait this one out a little I think. I REALLY don't want to order direct through AE; as I think they will figure out a way to screw people over somehow. I am also going to put...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

This thread is all over the place at this point. :D Yes, HH / TH sucks and I go a long way out of my way to avoid them. I used to encourage others to join TH's member program as it really is a deal, but after my last dealing with them with a backorder, and a couple of random easily available items t...

Re: Traxxas Bullet Refresh

So I finally ran across the MSC pieces at a price I was willing to pay, and what should be a simple install has me a little stumped. :? The resistor pack consists of three resistors, and I have six spades, but no idea where to plug them in. :) It is always the simple things isn't it??? The manual I ...

Re: Traxxas Bullet Refresh

Well I think I got it wired correctly. If/when I put power on it, we'll see. :D IMO, looks so much better without the brick there! The body and roll cage are probably going to end up being future projects, so it will probably be sitting like this for a while, which I am perfectly fine with. As with ...

Re: Inter-Fab Viper EX-10

I have only experimented with printing on clear a few times, and found the results so poor, that I only print on white at this point. This is going to lead to the next issue of all the red advertising decals that are all over this car, that will need to be printed as they are too small / detailed to...

Re: Inter-Fab Viper EX-10

Eventually settled on a red after A LOT of experimentation. Under some light, they match perfectly, but as the lighting changes, the difference is obvious. Oh well, it is what it is. I got the whale tail painted, just haven't gotten it on. Swapped back to the original steering knuckles as they allow...
